I ordered these to store our VT home grown garlic while it wintered in our basement. They are sturdy, perfect for our use (mouse proof and ventilated). Very happy with our purchase. Probably make a fine waste basket as well. Read more

This item went far beyond my expectations. I don’t have to use a trash bag liner if I don’t want to. It keeps the trash inside the can and you don’t have to worry about the trash spilling out of the trash bag. It’s perfect!!! Read more

These trash cans (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B832MJJ8) are fully needs-suiting if you're using them for the short-term storage of trash in a local area before transfer to larger storage (e.g. a garbage bin or a dumpster) for disposal as long as you use bags in them (and you really should be otherwise you're the actual trash in this situation). Structurally could also serve as a recyclables bin for paper (without the need for bags) or for cans (with the need for bags) although you may want to consider a blue or other distinctively colored bin for such to avoid confusion with trash. Will buy again the next time I need three mesh trash cans. You'll want to use 5 gallon bags with this so that you'll have sufficient side-roll and the bag will have room to tie-off even when filled with 4 gallons of trash. These (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D78JP7LC) are generally suitable for this application (although might be too thin if your garbage is especially dense). Read more
