My son has officially used this back pack for a whole year. He's now going into first grade and he's going to use it again because it's held up pretty well. I also want to point out that he doesn't come home to throw it at the floor as soon as he comes in the house so that probably also has helped the durability. I would say it's worth the price since I did not see any other student with the same backpack so I like to think it's like a rare backpack lol. It's spacious just like a regular school back pack from Walmart I was worried it was going to be small but it's not! The design and color is actually so cool and giving he's kind of a Minecraft nerd he absolutely loves it. This is a very nice size back pack and the quality is good, with the exception of the zippers. It has a double zipper and the first one broke within a few weeks. My son was still able to use it with the remaining zipper but that broke after about 5 months. However, my son really loves this backpack and wanted another one so I'm giving it 4 stars. My 6 year old son picked this backpack out for kindergarten, and he loves it still 7 months later! It's held up beautifully, the zipper works great on the large and small pockets, the mesh material for a cup holder on the side is still perfect, and all the stitching is still in place! Besides a few scuff marks or wear & tear on my son's handling of it, it almost looks brand new. Also the inside lining material has been easy to clean as needed (I'm looking at you, apple sauce explosion of 2024). The shoulder straps are also very comfortable (my son likes when we "teamwork" carrying his backpack a.k.a. I get the privilege of carrying it often so can attest to this first hand). $40 for a backpack that has no water bottle pockets or separate pockets inside is ridiculous. My son loved this backpack when we were looking for one. It looks nice but feels a bit thin. The reason i’m giving one star is because it’s a nice looking backpack i just think for $40, a water bottle pocket on the sides and separate pockets inside should be included. This backpack is not worth $40 because it’s a basic backpack save your money if you want more features on a backpack. Read more
