I was all prepared to not like this camera because it was too cheap and too small to be effective. But I was wrong. You have to position the camera exactly where you want it because it does not have a wide area of vision but when it detects a motion it captures it beautifully. It's not iphone quality of picture but it gets the job done. I keep mine plugged in all the time so I am not sure about the life of the battery. The only drawback is that you have to photo dump often as it does not have enough memory to store lots of photos. I just look at mine every other day and I am fine. Read more

The camera has a decent picture but there are two main issues, first is the night vision only works about 2 feet in front of it, in a total dark room the LEDs light aren't going to let you see beyond this. Second the camera continously connects to network then disconnects. Connected to 2.4 so this is really annoying. Read more
