This camera is the real deal. First of all, it works great. The video quality is phenomenal. The app works in conjunction to send you motion alerts or to just monitor the feed. It's super easy to use and set up, as you use the app to set it up with a combination of bluetooth (for set up) and WiFi (for the connection). Once the camera is live, you can just open the app and see what the camera sees. The video feed is flawless in 4K, and you can set up the app to alert you with notifications on your phone when there's any motion, or you can set it up for human detection, so that it doesn't send you constant false alerts when there's a lot of shifting light or pets bumming around the house. The camera itself will take a MicroSD card to save captures, or there's a cloud service you can subscribe to in order to just have those caps accessible in the cloud. You can power it via USB, or you can charge the built-in battery periodically. It's a great option for security & peace of mind. You could use it as a nanny cam, or if you suspect someone is getting into your Lego collection when you're not around. It comes with a small conical base that you can use to mount it, or you can find some way to obscure the camera and make it a little less obvious to prying eyes looking for prying eyes. In terms of price, if I were looking for a nanny cam I would hope to come along something a tad more affordable, but after checking this camera out I realized I was getting amazing value for the price. I'll gladly give this camera five stars all day long for ease of use, the video quality, the app experience, and overall just more than delivering on expectations. Please do not waste your time or money on this product. The Camera works very well, but the Battery life is limited to under 1.5 hours. If you are looking for a long term camera to monitor hallway or front door motion and activity this is the not the Camera for you. A Complete waste of money. Fully charged this camera last only 72 minutes, with no motion activity, and limiting detection to Human form. The camera goes offline every day requiring you to reinstall it locally, which proves impossible to use for remote monitoring of a space when off site.
