Great camera and I was surprised at how well it works for how small it is. Easy to use and charge and super easy to mount. Read more
I'm not sure it's really getting a full 2K resolution on the feed, but honestly, for the price and size (AA battery for scale), it does a pretty good job. It does seem like objects at a distance come in a lot clearer than objects that are close as you can tell in the photos. I'm actually pretty impressed overall with this one. You do have to download an app in order to use it. Which I'm not thrilled about, because you have to also create an account with your email in order to use the app. Once downloaded, it seems like it needs access to your Bluetooth and WiFi in order to connect the camera. I'm not a big fan of this, but understand that it is probably necessary in order to make the connection. Connection was simple at least, very smooth, picked up right away, and was up and running in no time. There are a variety of features and settings you can tweak to get it to where you need it. Pretty glad they have all the options available, works like a makeshift security camera if you would like to use it that way. The motion detection is not very sensitive, even at the highest sensitivity. Both a good and bad thing, I sometimes get annoyed by how often I get notifications because a tree blew in the wind on my other cameras. You will get a lot of notices about purchasing the company's cloud storage. But I find it much easier to just monitor the SD card I added (not included) to skip the monthly bill. 99 cents a month isn't too bad, but over time, it will build up. And I'm not sure how SD card storage works since I haven't had it long enough to fill up a card. I'm hoping it works like my other cameras and deletes the oldest videos when it is out of space. Comes with a mount that you can either attach with included screws or adhesives. The mount itself takes a bit to get used to, you will likely have to loosen the camera a bit to line up with the direction of the mount, then use a separate dial to fix it in that position. Also comes with a Micro USB charging cable, power brick not included as well. Read more

This isn't a bad little camera. It was fairly easy to set up and install. The images are crisp and the colors are great. The app is fairly simple and doesn't really give you a lot of options. They offer a 99 cent for one month cloud storage option or you can use a memory card. My biggest problem is the poor battery in the camera. After fully charging the battery I set the camera up about 11:30 this morning. About 3:30 this afternoon I got a message in the app saying the camera was not connected. After several attempts to reconnect the camera I checked it and the battery was completely dead. That was only 4 hours of use with little to no movement in the room. I'm charging the battery again and try it one more time before I return it. It's a shame the battery is so poor beacause it really is a nice little camera. Read more
I read reviews where people said it was tiny - or big. That it had a battery - or not. Yadda yadda yadda The one I received is bugger than pictured; nearly a 2-inch cube. It has no battery. It set up easily, and the app is lame (even if you pay for the subscription). The image is OK, night mode is shakey, and motion detection is either super-sensitive or it doesn't work. Read more
I could not read the app. I scanned the QR code, and the opened app was... well, everything was written in (what I'm assuming is) Mandarin. There was no "TRANSLATE" button anywhere. That is where my attempt to test this product ended. Idk if it's good or bad, I just know most of us don't know how to read Mandarin. Also, the camera that is in the picture is not what I have in my possession. I have the box/square-looking device, the one pictured is more of a rectangular device. Sorry, I wish I had more good things to say but, this is full transparency. Read more
I recently got the HowKow camera, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my home security setup! The picture quality is impressive, and the 4K resolution really captures all the details. Setting it up was a breeze, and the WiFi connectivity means I can check in from anywhere using my phone. I love the wide-angle view, which gives me great coverage of the room. It’s compact and portable, making it easy to move around as needed. The built-in battery is a big plus, too—I don’t have to worry about cords getting in the way. Overall, I highly recommend this mini security camera for anyone looking to enhance their home security. It’s reliable, easy to use, and provides peace of mind! Read more
The camera I received was a cube, not small like the one in the listing. The app is clearly a chinese app which makes me a bit concerned about using it to connect a camera to my home as I don't really know or trust this company (especially since the product didn't even look like the product I ordered). It works but I'm hesitant to use it for anything more than just a toy. Read more
