I’ve been using this driver daily nearly three years now. I mainly work with electronics, so having low torque settings for smaller screws into plastic and this metal is important. The battery is user-replaceable, which is nice. The only thing I’d update would be the 1/4” bit receptacle, which doesn’t allow one-handed operation like the other red-and-black name brand screwdriver, but that one is many times the price! It's tedious to assemble or take apart electronics or small machines like a Roomba when you have arthritis in your hands. This little rechargeable screwdriver makes it fun again. It's trong enough to loosen tight screws. I keep the clutch set at the lowest setting, that works well in most cases. The screwdriver feels sturdy and well-made, the switches are conveniently placed. The quick-change chuck makes swapping tools simple and fast, while holding them securely while working. Very useful addition to my toolkit. Read more
I tried to find a small household screwdriver with 4 features: Direct USB-C charging Adjustable torque Locking bit holder (not magnetic) Variable speed trigger Apparently the variable speed trigger is hard to come by in cheaper units, but this does check the other 3. Many have 2 fixed speeds and claim it is variable, but that does not mean a variable trigger. USB C was important to me. I confirmed it will charge via C to C cable which is great because a lot of electronics in this price range say "USB C charging" but then requires a USB A to C cable which ruins the point. (I used a 65w brick, did not get hot). Haven't done much testing but I assume in this price range the adjustable torque will not be very precise. That's OK for around the house. It seems to have plenty of power for quick household jobs - furniture assembly, tightening cabinet screws, drilling a pilot hole, etc.Locking bit holder is necessary to avoid frustration, otherwise bits are always pulling out with cheap magnetic holders. I wouldn't put too much value on the included bits but at least it has a couple. I'll end up using my own set. Overall for the price this is a very good value...if it holds up over time. Read more

I am writing a single review for two (of several) offerings of the very same tool: Cvvitco Model LSD005. What differs is the housings--a fitted plastic case versus a similarly sized cardboard box. The cased version I now have comes with more driver tips, three drills, and 5 hex sockets in metric sizes from 5-10mm. The boxed version comes with three double ended driver bits, two with medium length shafts, and one with a longer shaft than is available in the cased version. I won't go into the details of these, as they are listed in the page listings devoted to each. They are all of mid quality, and useful for the novice DIYer who doesn't have many tools, or as ready backups to higher quality ones purchased previously and/or individually. As is obvious from the product photos, the power unit itself is of a straight "screwdriver style", as opposed to the equally common pistol grip styles. I have long had powered drivers of each style, and for my tastes, a pistol style is easier to handle, especially under high torque, but individual tastes and primary uses will vary. The forward power switch is towards the middle of the tool, with a second reverse power switch farther towards the end. I'm not fond of their placement, as they are not readily manipulated when the tool is held in the most typical fashion, making it harder to operate when the tool is in use. Again, I find the trigger system on pistol grip drivers to be more controllable and reachable. My previous powered screwdrivers have not had a torque limiting clutch, let alone one with 6 positions, and I doubt I'll be using this tool in anything other than the "Max" setting. However, I do not dismiss the utility of having a clutch, especially when the power switches are not easily reachable. I can also see where leaving this tool on a low clutch setting could reduce the possibility of those with less familiarity with the tool--and the power of most electric screwdrivers--from over driving the fastener they are applying it to. So, overall, a capable tool in any of the configurations it is sold in. It is competitively priced and similarly powerful when compared to offerings from other manufacturers, charges reasonably quickly, and best of all, it has the ability to replace the battery without too much effort. It is not the tool I will reach for first, but it may be yours. Read more
Good battery life and worked great but didn't survive a drop from my 6 ft ladder so I would say not durable for every day use at work I bought a cheaper electric screw driver a few years ago and it survived much more drops from higher drops Read more
