I got this mainly for electronics repair work around the house and it handles that job fine. The power isn't going to blow you away, but for what I'm doing with phones, laptops, and small gadgets it gets the job done. My main gripe is with the bit storage. Everything is crammed in there super tight, and getting the bits out of the enclosure is more of a hassle than it should be. I get that they're trying to keep the footprint small, which they did accomplish, but the tradeoff is you're fighting with the case every time you need to swap bits. The build quality itself is solid though. The bits feel durable, the USB-C charging is convenient, and the OLED display is a nice touch even if it's hard to see in bright light. The magnetic tip works well for keeping screws attached while you work. The media could not be loaded. I have another mini precision screwdriver set similar to the Galacok driver, and I it replaced just about every precision tool that I use. So much so that I decided to get another so that I can have another one in my backpack. There aren’t too many cons for this driver set. Compared to my other one, this one is actually superior. The driver is much more powerful and provides quite a bit of torque. However, the little LCD screen on the side isn’t very bright and kind of hard to see in bright light. Also, like my other set, some of the bits that are held magnetically will become dislodged while in the carrier, making it hard to get the tool out. This is especially difficult in the bit carousel part. The Galacok mini electric precision screwdriver set features 78 components, which is way more than my other set. The entire apparatus with all the tools pops in and out of the aluminum carrier, making it ideal for portability and storage. As mentioned, the smaller bits are in a turnstyle rotational piece; however, the larger and longer bits are stationary. Most of them are slotted in, but held in by magnets. It also has a smaller manual driver as well as tweezers and a metal pry tool. It has numerous bits of every type, such as phillips, torx, pentalobe, security torx, tri-port, and others. It also comes with a magnetizer/demagnetizer, but it is separate from the main tool storage system. It has a 250 mAh lithium-ion battery that charges via a USB-C port. It comes with a small USB-C to USB-A cable and can be charged with any standard USB charger. It charges quite fast since it’s a smaller battery; however, it lasts a pretty long time. I primarily use precision drivers for building FPV drones, but I also use them at work for various electronics projects, computer repairs, and lab work. This is ideal for someone who works on phones or tablets as well. The best part of this set is the price. This is an incredible value for the number of tools you get. My other set has about half of the tools and costs more than this set. I’m not sure where the additional cost is on my other set; however, this is a really good deal at 53 dollars. Read more
There are a lot of different bits in this screwdriver set, and I really appreciate the revolving bit carousel. It makes things easy to find and grab. The magnetic parts are a wonderful addition and work nicely with little screws. That being said, the screwdriver isn't very strong. It has trouble with screws that are even a little bit tight, and it often needs to be loosened by hand first. The sticker on top of the unit also gave me difficulties. Even after using alcohol and other adhesive removers, it was incredibly hard to get off and left behind a sticky residue. It's useful for light work, but don't expect it to be able to accomplish anything that's really tight. Read more
This is hands down he best precision screwdriver set that I own. It comes with an enormous variety of bits that covers literally every use case that I have needed it for so far. The little compact case that it comes in protects it very well and makes it so easy to store and keep everything organized. it's super easy to remove from the case. You just press down like if you were pressing a button and the whole device pops right up. The screwdriver itself has excellent torque and power and is incredibly easy to use as well. I love how durable and convenient this screwdriver is. The quality blows all the other cheaper ones out of the water.
