This is a great electric screwdriver kit. It is not as small as others I have, but it has longer bits and some other neat features that make the size worth it. For example, the case has an access point to charge the driver without taking it out of the case. The case also has a little storage compartment to hold the collets for the drill bits. The speed control actually works on this driver as well, and when cycling through the 5 speeds, you can actually hear the difference. Overall, it is a great little set with longer bits and drill bits that set it apart from others. It is well worth consideration for hobbyists, diyers, and even semi professionals. Read more

This is a great set for a computer technician or anyone that works on items that require a delicate touch. The case is designed in such a way that you push the bottom in and the tray pops out, letting you slide the inner compartment out. The drill is placed in the tray so that the charging port is exposed even when the tray is closed, making it very easy to charge without taking it out or worrying about losing bits. The bits themselves are held in place magnetically and are on both sides of the tray. The screwdriver itself has 5 torque settings that are shown on the display, however don't expect this screwdriver to deliver too much power. I tried to use it to install a floating shelf and it couldn't handle driving a screw through a pre-drilled hole in wood into a pre-drilled hole in metal. That being said, I don't think it counts against it, as it's definitely designed more for electronics. In that scenario, you wouldn't want too much power, lest you tighten a screw too tight and break a piece of plastic or an electronic component. While this is a great set, there are a couple of issues. First, the case is very well designed to contain almost everything, but there is nowhere to store the magnetizer or charging cord. Speaking of the charging cord, it's a good thing the screwdriver is USB-C, which is everywhere, because the included cord is a whopping 12 inches long. A one foot charging cable kind of limits you to charging at a desk or off a powerbank. Also included is a magnetic mat with measurements on it, but doesn't include imperial units. Additionally, because it's magnetic, it would've been perfect if the case had a magnetic side that you could slap it on to when not using it, as it is roughly the same length. Also, a magnetic side would be great to stick the case to a metal surface when not in use. Lastly, the included tweezers were a great addition, but BE WARNED! They are EXTREMELY sharp. I would say needlessly so, but there are certain instances where a small object would be handy, such as hitting embedded reset buttons, instead of using a straightened paperclip. Luckily there is a safe place for them in the tray that makes it impossible to accidentally stab yourself. Overall, a really great set for an electronics repair technician or a gift for the computer enthusiast in your life. Read more

I have become more enamored with a full size electric screwdriver kit as a faster way to deal with a number of modest projects around the house. It's nice when I have lighter duty needs than what calls for pulling out the powerful drill. The only problem with the kit I have is that it doesn't have any more precision bits available. And while I have an absolutely awesome iFixit kit, it isn't electric. So I wanted to have an electrified kit to supplement that, and came across this one, which looked pretty complete (bit wise) without costing an arm and a let. Overall, I'm really happy with it. It comes with an absolute ton of bits -- 56 different screw ones, and 9 drill bits. It also has some extras for parts manipulation and opening. e.g., there is a super precision tweezers and a spudger. All that stuff fits in this nice little plastic case, which has a spring loaded cover that slides on. The driver itself sits in the case in a way that allows you to charge via its USB-C port while the case is closed. That's thoughtful. The driver has a little screen that shows you the battery level and torque level (from 1-5). There is led lighting at the tip to help show what you are working on -- great in those tight situations where it's hard to see. It's not blazingly bright, but still helpful. About those drill bits, I'm not sure I understand the purpose. This thing doesn't really have enough torque to drill through any hard surfaces (I think?). So I don't see myself using those 9 bits too much. But they don't bother me either. Maybe someday I'll find the perfect use case unexpectedly and will be glad I have those bits.
