The Blue MF MINI FOCUS Men’s Analog Fashion Wrist Watch has a quartz movement and is available in several case and strap color combinations. My watch has a blue face, a silver steel case, and a blue plastic strap. The strap is soft and flexible. I like the feel of the soft plastic better than leather, although I wouldn’t want a plastic strap on a watch I was wearing with a tuxedo. But this isn’t a watch for formal occasions. It’s sharp looking and I consider the style to be a sports watch, or a casual everyday everyday watch. It’s a chronograph watch. Chronograph is a highfalutin word for stopwatch. The watch has 3 subdials: The subdial at 3:00 is a 24 hour indicator; it’ll tell A.M. and P.M. That’s usually obvious without a watch. The subdial at 9:00 shows the chronograph minutes. The 6:00 subdial shows the chronograph seconds. The time second hand and the chronograph second hand functions on this watch are reversed (switched) from tradition. The pusher at the 2:00 position starts, pauses, and stops the chronograph. The pusher at 4:00 resets the chronograph to zero. The chronograph runs for an hour, then stops. There’s a date window at the 4:30 position. You’ll hafta manually set the date on the first of any month that follows a month shorter than 31 days. The box it comes in is nice and would present itself well if the watch were given as a gift. Amazon’s description claims “Water Resistant.” So if you sweat, wash your hands, or get sprinkled by rain, the watch should be fine. But don’t swim with it, and don’t pull out the crown or operate the chronograph if the watch is wet. The hands and markers are luminous. The luminosity is pretty good in pitch darkness if the watch has recently been in sunshine.. An instruction sheet is included with instructions for setting, but it’s a little confusing at first because it covers several models of watch. The watch has a diameter of 43mm, not including the crown. It is 13.5mm thick. It’s 20mm between the lugs. I don’t know if an off-the-shelf 20mm strap will fit, as the stock strap has unusual ends. I have 8 1/4 inch wrists, which are unusually large. The length of the stock strap fits me—barely. It should fit an average wrist with no trouble. The MF MINI FOCUS Men’s Watch is a good choice for any man who wants to wear a sharp-looking watch without breaking the bank. It looks great and has a good feel on my wrist from having worn it all day. This watch is worthy of 5 stars, assuming it is understood that we’re not comparing it to a $200 or higher price watch. I’m a big fan of watches, and this one is a steal at a great price and looks fantastic! It’s quartz-powered and always keeps the right time. Plus, it has a date feature and a nice silicone band. The only two things that could be better are the size of the instructions and the chronograph feature. Most of the watch’s workings are pretty easy to understand, but reading the manual is like trying to read a tiny book with a magnifying glass. Once I got the hang of it, I could use the chronograph and reset it, but it took a while to figure it out. That being said, for the price, the chronograph is mostly just for show. When the watch arrives, it’s in a cardboard box with a sleeve and foam padding. The watch is well-wrapped in cellophane, so you know it’s brand new. Read more
If you want a nice timepiece on your wrist but don't want to pay hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars, I highly recommend this watch. It looks absolutely premium, works great, is super comfortable, and won't break your bank! Right out of the box, you can see how pretty this thing is. I love the rose gold contrasting the black background and black strap. The buckle is rose gold as well, which looks awesome and is a great touch. The actual clockface looks fantastic. It is easy to read, and I especially like that the "second" hand ticks constantly. The function of this watch couldn't be easier. I cant stand a watch with 30 knobs and functions, and it's impossible to set. All you do is pull the big middle wheel out, set the time, and push it back in. Done, super easy. There is a stopwatch function, but it is super easy to use as well. The top button starts and stops the 60-second stopwatch; the bottom button resets it. No complicated button-press formula to use it. My favorite thing about this watch, besides how it looks, is the wristband. It is a flexible silicon band that makes it super comfortable to wear. The stretch allows you to tighten it down without making it too tight, so you get the best fit possible. Compared to leather or metal bands, this style is absolutely my favorite! I have worn it now for a few days, and I have no complaints about durability. I have gotten it wet, no issues, and under normal wear and tear, I haven't had an issue. The glass hasn't scratched or anything, and it feels like it will stand the test of time. Overall, I love this watch, and it is a worthy addition to my collection. The watch is water resistant not water proof so no swimming with it on. The watch has a big face but does not look or feel bulky.
