I love cameras. They also scare me. I don't like being recorded, but I like knowing the space around my home is clear. I also like knowing what my dog is doing when I'm in the other room, so I finally gave in to indoor cameras. I have a nice pet-focused one for the dog, but I wanted something that would stay in a fixed position and capture the room as a whole, so when I saw this little listing I had to try it. It arrived in a nice box and contains the camera, a charging cable, and a little mounting stand. Setup isn't too hard. Power it on, download the app, the app connects and you're set. This isn't a bad little camera. The FPS is low, so the video is a little jagged, so I removed a star. The picture quality itself is pretty good, nothing cinematic but enough that you can see details about what's going on. The app is free, but if you want any cloud storage through this company you have to pay a monthly fee. Not terrible, but if it's just cloud storage there are other services that offer more storage for the same cost. Overall this is a decent little camera. I can't attest to the battery life just yet, but it hasn't died in the few hours I've used it. Read more
