The media could not be loaded. These are great bells, finely tuned. My daughter plays piano, so she was able to play Twinkle twinkle little star, rain rain go away, jingle bells. Since there are only 8 notes (one octave) there isn’t much to play. We haven’t tried songs from the book yet but I’m sure they will sound just as nice and entertaining. Definitely a nice supplement for kids who are learning musical instruments (esp.piano). Also it is a great educational musical toy to explore with a kid who is not involved in music, however, a child definitely will need a parent who knows basic music knowledge (the order of the notes CDEFGAB, rhythm) to help the child learn to play a song. Otherwise, it will be just another toy that isn’t used properly and eventually ends up lost in the big bin of toys. This set definitely requires care and adult supervision, should be placed separately from regular toys and taken cared of. It is highly important to set the bells in order: from low-to-high sound, to develop a good musical ear in the child. Free play and messing with the bells of course is possible but they are still meant towards music education and should be taken as such - more seriously than just a toy. Highly recommend! Read more

The order arrived with a spring missing, but customer service agreed to replace the bell with the missing component. Otherwise, a great set that my kid is excited to use once the replacement arrives. Read more
My kids absolutely love this! The sound is good, comes with a music book, and a carrying bag. Really fun, even for adults! Came as pictured. Read more
We've had this for a few months now, and it has been a fantastic purchase! We got it for our 4-year-old, and he absolutely loves it. The bells are so easy for preschoolers to use and follow along with. It's been great for teaching coordination and the early steps of reading music, which has been both fun and educational. The durability is also impressive—ours have taken several tumbles off our dining room table and still look and sound as good as new. It’s not just for little ones, either! Adults and older kids in our family enjoy playing with it too, making it a fun activity for everyone. Highly recommend this for families looking for an engaging, durable, and educational musical toy! My toddler loves these and can even play the songs in the booklet. They seem pretty sturdy and the colors are vibrant. Read more
The bells themselves are lovely and have a nice clear tone- these were gifted to a toddler who enjoys them very much and is actually starting to learn which tones sound good in order- a vast improvement to the piano bashing she previously engaged in! My only recommendation for improvement would be to actually use the scale in the music book- since as it currently is read, the scale is just a background picture with the colors for the bells just centered more or less on the picture of the scale in the order that they’re played. There is a picture of the book in the images for the product and if you look at it you’ll see what I mean. Adding a functioning scale which illustrates where the note falls could help with reading music in the future- and add value to the product! Having it be readable as music may be considered not as important in an early learning tool for kids- but that’s the only thing I noticed could be improved. Overall- will recommend! They are durable and have held up to the toddlers heavy hands and enthusiasm so far- and they’re quite easy to use for her and she’s already able to pick up how the book wants her to hit notes. :) Read more
I teach music at a special ed high school and my kids are VERY rough with all hands on instruments. I purposely purchased the reinforced bells because my older boys can break things in two seconds. So far they’ve held up great! I HAVE had a student temporarily break one of the bells by messing with the hammer on the inside, but my husband was able to adjust it after working on it for a while and the chime works again. Additionally, I love the branding and approach to this company’s products. Not only are the little aliens cute and gender neutral, they are AGE neutral as well! It is very, very difficult finding developmental-stage instruments and teaching materials that aren’t branded as baby toys or marketed towards elementary school kids. I will say that the colors are different from traditional Orff instruments, so it’s going to be difficult for me to pair the bells with items like Boomwhackers. I would definitely purchase more items from this company if they can provide a wider range of pitched instruments using their colors (which I actually prefer over the others). I would love to purchase something from this company again! Most likely the larger xylophones in carrying cases next. Read more
