I wanted to see if this Minimalist Sponge Holder with Removable Divider could be put to use as a dirty spoon holder for my home office coffee station — and it works perfectly. The clear, minimalist design fits beautifully alongside my coffee maker and mugs without looking out of place. It has a clean, modern appearance that doesn’t clutter the counter. The three compartments allow me to separate used coffee spoons from clean stir sticks or small accessories. I especially like the removable divider because it lets me adjust the space depending on how many spoons, I’m using that day. The built-in drip tray is what really makes this product ideal for this purpose. Any leftover coffee drips collect neatly in the tray instead of running onto my countertop, which keeps my coffee station tidy and easy to maintain. When it needs cleaning, I can simply remove the tray and rinse it out. The material feels sturdy and stable, even when holding multiple metal spoons. The media could not be loaded. Whether free standing or hanging up this sponge/brush holder is great! This small holder is square, fairly compact and can be used on the counter (it has four little rubber feet) or hanging on a wall close to your sink. You could probably hang it inside your sink but that would limit your use of the sink in my opinion since it’s as deep as it is wide. We chose to hang ours at the back left corner of our kitchen sink so that it doesn’t impede the use of our sink in washing large dishes. Being clear it really just blends in with its surroundings by not being too bright nor patterned. As the listing says it gives it a minimalist look. The unit has a small drip pan to catch any water coming off of your sponges or bottle brushes keeping the water from hitting your counter or backsplash. If you need to empty or wash the drip tray it slides forward like a little drawer for removal. There is a simple “T” shaped divider that goes in one way so you can either have a large square opening (without the divider) or you can use it to create a full width front half and a divided back half for holding sponges and brushes Although this is for a kitchen sink I could easily see this being used in a bathroom for toothbrushes/razors or possibly in the shower (without the drip tray) for holding razors. Nicely made acrylic container that is thick enough to feel sturdy and not weak at all. Overall five stars for design, ease of installation ,ease of use and overall look. At the time of ordering this was $9.99 and for me it was well worth it for the quality alone. I have bought other, thin walled plastic boxes for a little less at the big box stores but quality just was not there. This sponge holder is exactly what I was looking for. It feels well-made and sturdy, and the clear design keeps everything looking neat and minimal on the counter. It doesn’t look bulky or cheap, which I appreciate. The compartments are very functional — I’m able to keep my sponge, dish brush, and scrubber all in one spot without them sliding around the sink. The removable divider is a nice touch, and the drip tray underneath helps catch excess water so everything can dry properly instead of sitting in a puddle. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it takes up a little more counter space than I initially expected, but it does keep things much more organized. Be warned, this holder was a lot smaller than expect and that is partially on me, but also due to some very deceptive I'm sure product photos. There is an included image that does provide the accurate measurements which I did not really pay too much attention to which I should have, but when it arrived I was shocked and how much smaller it really was. The images make it look like it would be around 6-8 inches tall and 4-6 inches wide by how big they made it look in comparison to the sink it sits next to and the plate in the woman's hand she is washing. It does just fit a sponge, but it will not hold a standard scrub brush very well without being very securely attached to the wall or counter top. I have decided to use the container for a different purpose since it is so much smaller than expected. Even though it is not very big, it is still a nice quality acrylic container and it comes with an adhesive wall mounted sticker that it can slide on to. I have used mine to hold and sort electrolyte packets in my cabinet. I have not done it, but I could see mounting this to in inside of a cabinet door being a nice thing to do to possibly hold straws or other smaller items although it is deep and you would need the space to be able to close it.
