The Minisopuru iExpandMate MINI4PRO has been a great addition to my Mac Mini M4 setup. It looks sleek and blends in perfectly with my Mac, plus the power switch makes it super convenient to use. The built-in M.2 NVMe SSD slot is a game-changer—I was able to add extra storage without any hassle. I also love that the HDMI port supports 4K at 60Hz, making my video editing much smoother. The SD and microSD card slots are a nice touch, especially for transferring photos and videos quickly. I do wish the USB-A ports were faster since they’re only 2.0, but they still work fine for basic peripherals. I got this for my new MacMini M4. There are a lot of companies making something like this, so I just sort of picked the one that had the features I wanted and hit my price point. I think this is a great value for the money, and it was easy to set up. I even took advantage of the built-in chip storage and ordered an accessory chip. That is probably my favorite feature. I'd rate this five stars because it's made from solid materials and everything works as it should, but I didn't give it five stars because I've found that I'm unhappy with the connection options. I like that it has photo card slots, and I love that it has a USB-A slot, but it has two USB-A slots, and now everything and every peripheral manufacturer is using USB-Cs. So, what I've found I don't have enough of is USB-C slots. I wish this had more of these. But it matches my Mac Mini well, and it's indispensable to me now. It's a must. I've just had to buy some USB-A to USB-C converter tips. All in all, a great value and, for me, essential. Read more

Installing an NVMe SSD in the internal slot was super easy (it fits all sizes 2230 all the way to 2280), and I was blown away by the fast speeds it delivered—definitely a great solution for extra storage without cluttering up my desk. The port selection is also really useful, with USB, SD slots, HDMI, and audio support, making it a great hub. Overall, this is an amazing dock and stand for the Mac Mini M4. I ordered the Minisopuru dock/SSD drive enclosure before I received my Mac Mini Pro and BenQ monitor. I installed a quality 4TB SSD and when the participants all assembled, they played well together. The new Mac Mini instantly recognized the dock/drive; and without any overheating issues experienced with some other dock/drives. As a photographer, its nice to have the built-in SD Card and Micro-SD card reader functions, which of course can be used as an external drive in a pinch. This dock is a total game-changer for any Mac Mini M4 owner. It looks just like the Mac, so it sits perfectly underneath. Adding extra storage with the M.2 SSD slot is super easy. It runs really fast and, importantly, doesn't get hot like other hubs. You can the disk speed tested thru Black Magic. I guess my m.2 is not fast enough. You also get a bunch of useful ports for all your stuff. The 4K HDMI is awesome for smoother video, and the SD card slots are so handy. Setup is a piece of cake—just plug in one USB-C cable and you're done. It feels sturdy and premium, not cheap or flimsy at all. The only minor flaw is the USB-A ports in the front side. Furthermore, those ports are in the front which is truly obtrusive. If you are not using BT mouse and keyboard, you will have to plug in the front as mac itself has only c ports. It does not look tidy at all. It needs some modifications on this point. But honestly, it's an amazing and well-thought-out upgrade for your setup. Read more
After months of use i retired this dock. It always ran HOT. Really HOT. I suppose I was doing something wrong, everyone seems to be so happy with this gadget. I installed the thermal pad, thick enough to make contact with the SSD. I gave the thing "foots" so air flow beneath it. But I just had to touch the thing to notice how HOT the ssd was running (the dock doesn't has temp sensors). I installed the drive in other dock and it's working between 35-47C, and with two drives in it, side by side, it's running slightly warm to the touch. But everyone's so happy: What's the secret? I purchased this to work with my new Mac Mini M4 as I needed a way to attach my keyboard mouse and printer as well as an SD slot. Works great and it also makes it easier to turn off and on my Mac as needed. I figured I couldn't go wrong at about $50 and if it didn't work out I could return it. So far, absolutley no issues with overheating and it does exactly what I needed it for. Read more
