This is the second pair I’ve bought. The only reason I got a new pair was because the heel wore out inside the original boots. Hard to add inserts into these due to the amount of fluff on the footbed (which makes them incredibly comfortable). Never had uggs so can’t compare, but these are roomy (for narrow feet) and if you spray them with some waterproofing they’re pretty good in the snow too. The bottoms don’t have the best traction but they’re great to slip on and run out of the house. Read more

I have worn sheepskin boots for many a year now. In Southern California, they weren't needed but for a short time in the winter months. Up here in the Pacific North West... they are sort of year-round, depending on the day - especially in the mornings and evenings. I have tried several brands over the last few decades. The last brand I had been loyal to (BearPaw) went downhill in quality - the fur inside was sparse and sheered super short, almost like there was none at all! And the outer leather was stiff like cardboard, digging into my feet as I walked. And they weirdly made my feet stink - *never* has that *ever* happened to me in sheepskin boots. Only ever in shoes made from synthetic materials, so I'm not sure what to make of that, as they're supposedly not synthetic. But these!!! FUZZY FUZZY! Like warm fuzzy clouds hugging your feet! The leather is SOFT! No stank! Everything is just right! Yes, they are snug, even tight, when you first get them. That's the fur. It will compress. I cannot speak for all, but in my experience, ordering a half size to full size down is the way to go when getting sheepskin boots - but, I do wear mine barefoot. Socks feel weird, to me, inside furlined boots. Give them a little while, they will adjust to your feet. If you order your regular size (or bigger), they might fit better at first, but the fur will still compress, and then they will be too big. And since the adjustment/compression period is short compared to the life of the boot, and you'll have the boots a long while, it'd be better to err on the side of fitting well after the compression, and not before. I have 7&1/2 sized feet, but *wide*... super-wide... so, in shoes, I tend to need 8's or 8&1/2's, just for width. A size 7 is just about perfect for me. If they made 6&1/2, they'd probably be 100% spot on. The only thing I would ask to be different is to make the insoles removable. Your boots last longer if you can replace the insoles, plus it renews that super soft fuzzy fuzzy feeling that is just oh so nice. I am very glad I found these, and I will be looking to Minnetonka in the future whenever I need new sheepskin boots! Read more

These are the absolute softest most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever owned! These are so much more comfortable than my previous Uggs. Such a great quality! It feels like I’m walking on clouds when I wear these. They keep my feet comfortable and warm on a cold day. This is not my first pair of Minnetonka boots, but they’re definitely my favorite! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good quality sheepskin boot. Read more

Great for indoors. Easy slide in. It good for outdoors due to very little sole profile to prevent slipping. I buy them for indoors and this is my 4th pair. If wearing outside, try not to get them wet. They will not last long Read more

They are really warm and nice, I bought half size up and fit perfect. I was going to return them, because the inside material is synthetic, but after I tried on, I decided to keep them. The kitchen floor is cold for my house, I really need them to keep my feet warm. After I put them on, don't want to take them off. There is only one problem after I wear them for a long time. It feels like it sucks the water from the bottom. One morning I walked on the grass, the top of the boots stayed dry, but my feet got really cold and damp. I don't know how the water really got into the shoes, but I tested a couple of times later, I am sure the water didn't got inside from the top. Read more

I already had a brown pair and wanted a black pair as well .They are super warm but like any other type of UGG product they do run a 1/2 size small .So if you take a 8.5M in any other boot you need to go up a half size to have them fit. There is not any arch support I use insoles to give me a slight arch support and it works I can go all day in these boots and not have my feet hurt. This brand is a sister Company of UGGS . Absolutley worth the price! Read more

Let me start off by saying that I have owned a pair of Minnetonka boots similar to this, pair but in black, for about two years. I have been very pleased with them, and decided to order some more Minnetonka boots. I wear a size 11, and have arthritis issues, so when I find a brand of shoes or boots that fits comfortably, I become very brand-loyal. I am not disappointed in these, except for the fact that they are shorter than the previous pair I own by about an inch. I don't know if this is a fashion change, but I prefer the taller boot on my calf. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's why I gave four stars instead of five. I love the rich, chocolatey brown color of these boots, and the fit is just as comfy for my feet, which is the most important part to me. I suffer with a lot of foot pain, so the comfort supersedes fashion every time! I believe Minnetonka boots are good value for the money. I now own three pairs, and they all seemed well made and extremely comfortable......like butter on my feet! Read more

This is my second pair of these boots. The older ones, lasted for 5 years, and are still wearable. I did have to put shoe goo under the tips of the toes, last winter, because they were coming loose, but I had worn them a lot, so it was to be expected. I decided to treat myself to a new pair this year. They were shipped from Outland USA, and they came a day early ,with good packaging. I will keep these new ones for best, as I can still wear the old ones to take the dog out etc. They fit well. I wear a 6 1/2 shoe, so I ordered a size 7 and they are perfect. I always wear them without socks, as they have a lovely lambswool lining. So, don't hesitate to buy them. They are a really good buy, at a great price, and will last for years. Read more
