Ok ... I have to admit I hated these when I first started wearing them. These are not my first sheepskin slippers. These were my least favorite out of the box. I almost returned them. They started out slightly too small and narrow for me. My feet run wide, they felt more like a 7.5 than an 8 to me. Also because of the tightness, they were super hot, which I've never had a problem with in a sheepskin slipper. I am used to the feeling of the sheepskin pushing all over my feet, this wasn't it, they were just too narrow and tight. I decided to keep them because the previous brand I loved did not have my size in stock (which is why I ordered these in the first place). After a few weeks they stretched enough to eliminate all of my problems with them. Now they are comfortable, they don't get too hot, and feel perfect on my feet. I wear them all the time at home because I don't go barefoot in the house. They are also great around the yard because of the hard sole. So, overall, I love them and I'm glad I kept them. I will have to see how they last. My last pair (different brand) lasted over 1 year. If these hold up as well I will have to decide which to get next time. Read more

Hi! Read reviews with complaints that these are too tight - but the truth is that after a few wears they become VERY loose. Especially if you wear them with socks. Mine started out tight, but are too loose now to wear without socks. So please, give them a chance. These are amazingly warm and comfy slippers that last for years. I've had zero problems with them. I wear a size 9.5 medium width shoe, the size 9 slipper fits me. The size 10 slipper was huge and falling off my feet. Read more

So happy I was able to get these slippers in my hard to find size 5. They fit perfectly right out of the box. The pair I received seem to be well made, so I hope to be wearing them for a long time. The slippers are nice and fuzzy throughout, and there are no knots or leather points sticking out to bother my feet. I also like how the rubber soles are stitched on and glued, as well as being very flexible. Also considering how hard it is for me to find any shoes that I like and that fit me, I think the price is really good, especially for natural shearling. When I read the reviews, a number of people commented that the slippers were too tight, a few said they had wide feet, but others didn't. Now my feet are small, length and width, so I'm not trying to imply that these ladies were wrong in any way, they know their own feet. My daughter has wide feet since she was pretty young, so i understand the frustration. I'll just pass along what I was told when I purchased my last pair, not Minnetonka's, they came with a note that basically said that when you first get any type of moccasins, they should be a little tight, that way they will stretch and mold themselves to your foot. The last pair I bought were from the Southwest Indian Foundation, so I kept wearing the mocs I purchased, which were made by a tribe in Canada. And they were right, the moc's stretched as the shearling compressed a bit and i wore them until you could see what color my toenails were. Since I've started working from home my old slippers weren't cutting it. My feet would sweat, they would lose their shape and just weren't comfortable for all day wear. These are like night and day. They keep my feet nice and toasty but not sweaty. They aren't slick on the bottom so I don't worry about sliding around, and surprisingly for not having a back they keep my heels warm. The leather is very nice and the shearling lining is soft and fluffy. They seem well made so hopefully they'll last for years to come. Read more

These arrived quickly. Quality and stitching is great. As expected for the Minnetonka brand. I wear about a size 7.5 (sometimes a 7, sometimes 8) and I ordered the size 8. Fits excellent without socks, reasonably snug with socks on. The soles aren't too thick but they're thick enough to protect my feet from feeling small rocks or goat heads if I have to step outside in them. I have another pair that I've had for 10 years but only wear in the summer so I'm expecting these to last just as long. Read more
