I've never purchased from the Minnie Rose brand before, so I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this tank. I was drawn to this piece by the unique "Lavender" color, distressing, and natural fiber content. So here are my thoughts: The lavender color is much less saturated and lighter in person compared to the photos in the product description. I prefer the photos to the actual product. The fabric content consists of 95% cotton and 5% cashmere. It has a soft feel but is quite thin. The rib knit gives it a bit of stretch. I'm not totally sold on the distressing, although a stylistic choice and selling point, it looks a bit sloppy and not totally on purpose. It appears to me like a piece of clothing moths or rodents got to rather than an edgy look. For reference, I am 5'5" tall 115 lbs 30D with a straight body shape and long limbs with a short torso. I typically wear a size 0 or XS but decided to order this tank in a "Small". I don't tend to like clingy tops and this one looked quite form fitting on the model. I'll say that I like the higher neckline but the armholes are too long and show the sides of my bra. The tank is also very long and the bottom band hits me in a strange place. I'm not sure if sizing down to an XS would have helped with my fitting issues. Overall, I'm not too impressed and feel this tank is overpriced. Read more

My husband got me these tanks as a gift and it’s the first thing I put on if I want something comfortable but still want to look put together. They can be dressed up or worn casually. The cut around the arms and neckline is flattering (in my opinion). This is the perfect tank to wear during those in-between seasons when you aren’t sure if it’s going to be hot or cold outside. This sweater tank is cute, but the cashmere is not as soft as I was hoping it’d be. The material is also on the thinner side. I would recommend ordering your normal size. I can fluctuate between a size small and medium, but I ordered the XS-S size. I definitely should have gone with the small-medium option. Overall, I’m not impressed enough with this top to make having to dry clean it worth it. Read more
