One of the few dual smart outlets that have individualized control over BOTH outlets. Most only let you control a single outlet, this let's you do both. Response is fast, though that depends on the quality of your z wave controller. Some controllers will have more than a 10 second response while others are less than one. Adding it to my z wave controller was fast and easy, fully setup in less than 5 minutes. Read more

Follow up on recent review. Manufacture offered a credit back which was acceptable and agreed that the advertisement was incorrect. The relay contact was NO not NC as advertised. They will correct that typo error and look at the possibility of marketing a NC smart plug. Read more

I'm using these to control some LED strip lights I installed in my garage above my garage door and my Christmas tree lights. They are SUPER fast to respond to commands using Hubitat. The only exception is the one that waits for an IFTTT command that turns off the lights when the garage door is opened... but I attribute the 1-2 second delay to my garage door motor talking to its server and that server talking to IFTTT before sending a command to my Hubitat hub. Minoston has become my go-to for Z-wave switches. Read more

I ordered these to automate the lights in my lizards cages. I needed to as the heat lamp is controlled by temperature and a single Z-Wave outlet would turn off both the heat lamp and the LED lights. A Z-wave compatible hub is needed for this. It is not stand alone. I installed this on the C8 Hubitat and it did not work. A bit of research showed that the drivers for this dual outlet were not native to the Hubitat. I found the driver on the Minoston website and installed them into the Hubitat. I reinstalled the outlet after a factory reset and it installed. I had to play with the settings a bit but it eventually configured the dual outlet correctly and each side can be individually controlled. A big improvement over my previous method. Read more

In a positive way, there's not much to say about this product that the advertised features don't cover. Everything functions exactly as you expect. It responds quickly based on actions taken in HA, and buttons on either side (one per outlet) are clicky and functional. The only possibly missing feature is power monitoring. I sort of expect These days, I, by default, expect my Z-Wave or Zigbee outlets to have power monitoring built-in and reported. The product page doesn't mention it, however, and so I won't deduct a star. For setup instructions check out this review https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RE5P3L6FC9QAO/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B0CRL5F1QY. All-in-all, a solid product. Read more

This is the procedure I used to get both outlets to show up on ST(SmartThings). Zwave. 1 The instruction sheet has a QR code that will take you to ST, Install the driver. 2 On StartThings application, press +(add device) 3 Scan the QR on the switch. 4 When ST is ready press the LEFT manual on button quickly 2 times. This add outlet 1. 5 Repeat steps 2 and 3. 6 When ST is ready press the RIGHT manual on button quickly 2 times. This add outlet 2. Hope this helps. Read more

Does not properly work with smartthings. The edge driver is buggy. Does not always control both outlets independently. Does not properly report status back to the hub. Can't be added to automations without causing the entire hub to lock up until a power reset is performed to return functionality back to normal. Read more

I like automation, and with the help of SmartThing, I control Z-wave lamps. This outlet works individually or both at the same time. It's easy to program and install. Read more
