Unsure about excessive hair shedding, delayed results, and continuing use.
I’ve been using this 5% Minoxidil Foam by TULVIXXO for a month now, and I’m honestly feeling really unsure about it. For starters, the Product Description, photos, amd price for the product I'd initially ordered depicted a pack of 3 bottles ... yet I only received one. Nonetheless, I began using it and waited until I'd finished the bottle to ensure a fair process and review. The product itself is easy to apply and goes on smoothy. It dries quickly, and doesn’t leave any oily residue. I didn't have any issues with application or use, yet I still personally prefer the liquid form as I find it easier to achieve full coverage of the scalp while requiring less product. Initially, everything seemed okay ... until I started noticing a significant amount of hair shedding. I had carefully read the directions and warnings before use, so I understood that some hair shedding was normal. But the amount of hair I continue to lose - from a product designed to alleviate thinnimg hair - has me feeling super uneasy and worried that I may have made a huge mistake in trying Minoxidil for my already-thinning hair. So far, I haven’t noticed any visible new growth or thickening, but I understand that results can take several months to observe. It's just a bit difficult to have confidence in this product's efficacy when I’m seeing more hair fall out than I expected ... and I won't know if there will be any benefit from it for half a year. For now, I’m trying to be patient and I'm monitoring how my scalp and hair respond before deciding whether or not to continue use. All I can do is hope that it pays off with consistent use, but at this stage ... I simply can’t say for certain if it’s working or worth the amount of shedding I’ve already experienced. I don't fault this particular product, as I believe my issue is with Minoxidil in general. But I could only recommend it with the warning that it requires a long-term commitment, which may feel questionable when you see the opposite of the results you were expecting. Read more
