This is a nice lip balm that is moisturizing and easy to use. It feels good on my lips and I didn't have any unwanted reactions. I did not notice that my teeth looked whiter, but I don't have very stained teeth so that could be why. Overall this seems like a good product. Read more
This lip oil feels nice on my lips, not too tacky and definitely moisturizing. I don't love the smell, it's not bad but there are no added perfumes, which is a good thing for some, but I like a sweet smell for my lip glosses or chapstick. This does give the illusion of my teeth being whiter. It's funny, I assume it's the blue tiny that gives the whiter appearance, yet my blue lipsticks seem to accentuate the yellow of my teeth. This works best in bare lips or a lip stain that works with the blue tint. I find that it makes my red tint look a bit duller (red and blue make people, so this isn't surprising) but it still works if I'm not going for a true red look. Read more
My daughter doesn't not like it, but she doesn't love it either. Its very similar to one she has that is less then half the price, other then the "whitening effect". Although unfortunately we were not able to experience. Neither of us have yellow teeth per say, but they could use a whitening/brightning and we didnt see a change. The minty flavor wasnt as good as we were expecting either. Its not horrible, i just think that for the price and what its claiming to do its not really worth it. Read more
Okay, so this is a very new concept to me, but I figured it was worth the shot. The taste is okay, mint is preferred over the fruity flavors that seem heavily perfumed. It does function as a lip gloss, and although I have yet to see actual whitening impacts, it generally is an elevated, novel spin to traditional lip gloss. I like the aesthetic of the tube though, so it's been fun using it so far. Read more
I don’t like it so much. The smell is awful. It feels tingly on my lips, but not in a pleasant way. I don’t understand the advertising. How does a lip gloss help whiten your teeth? It doesn’t go on your teeth, it goes on your lips. I put it on my lips over my lipstick, and also tried it on just plain lips. Both ways it didn’t smell nice or feel nice. Would not recommend it. MMM My lips feel good after using this lip oil; it's hydrating without being overly dramatic. Although the lack of extra scents is a nice thing for some, I prefer a pleasant scent for my chapstick or lip gloss, thus I don't love the smell. My teeth do appear whiter as a result of this. It's strange because my blue lipsticks tend to draw attention to my yellow teeth, even though I believe it's the blue tint that makes them appear whiter. This is most effective when applied on bare lips or with a lip stain that complements the blue tint. Read more
The concept of this lip gloss seemed interesting - somehow promising an "instant" whitening effect. As I expected, there was no teeth whitening effect when using this. While the lip gloss is tinted blue in the container, it looks clear glossy on my lips. The scent is a pleasant light mint and the gloss itself isn't sticky or heavy feeling on my lips, but instead gives that slight minty "tingle." I like the tube it comes in, but if you accidentally twist a time too much, there isn't a way to make it go down again, so you're wasting some of the very expensive lip gloss that would otherwise be saved. Overall, while I like this as lip gloss just because it's not the overly tacky, sticky mess so many often are, it's super expensive. The ingredients all seem to be a high quality, but I'm not sure it justifies the high price point. If it were a bit cheaper, I'd probably re-purchase it, but as it is, once I finish this tube, I'll be looking for other lip gloss. Read more
The lip has an almost medicinal mint adjacent taste, that is not at all pleasant. Fortunately the taste fades quickly. The gloss causes a tingling feeling that I associate with a lip plumping effect, but I didn't see any plumping going on. The gloss is shiny and long lasting with a blue reflection that made my teeth maybe seem a bit whiter? But that could have been just my imagination. In any case, don't expect anything dramatic.
