So I got this for my husband, and, it did not pass the test. In fact, he couldn't even get it to the point of being able to ACTUALLY test it as the thing fell apart and he cannot get it put back together. I wanted to add something to our home gym setup that wouldn't take up any floor space and this pull up bar was the perfect solution. The installation was incredibly straightforward and I love that it uses leverage instead of screws so I didn't have to damage my doorframe. It feels extremely solid and safe even when my husband who is on the heavier side uses it for his workouts. The foam grips are thick and comfortable which prevents hand fatigue and calluses during higher rep sets. We also use it for hanging leg raises and stretching and it never budges or slips.
