I was in the process of getting my house ready to go on the market and the bathroom 'started looking old'. It is a 1920s house and I do like the older look - but my bathroom looked small and dated - with a 1990's look. :-) Oak cabinets, etc. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I did want it to have a fresher look. So I decided to just cover up where the cabinets were with this huge mirror. :-) The mirror looked so good, made the room appear larger and freshened it so much I couldn't help but have the wallpaper removed and repainted! Much better. But the bonus was how easy it was to install! What an amazing concept that was provided with this mirror. Even though it was a large mirror, it was so easy to hang. I did have help because I am older, but one person could hang it if they had to. I was also concerned about whether it would survive the shipping process - but they thought of everything! The packing was amazing and with a temporary film over the glass, it allowed us not to worry about getting smudges all over it while we did the install. Read more

Would give 0 stars if Amazon allowed. After around a year and a half of use, the factory installed cleats on the back of the mirror detached from the mirror, allowing the mirror to fall from the wall. Very dangerous. Damaging to the counter below. Do not buy! Read more

This mirror was slightly more expensive than the last mirror I purchased, but the new mirror turned out to be well worth the price. I purchased two mirrors recently, from two different manufacturers. The differences were dramatic. Rather than bad-mouth the other company, here is what I appreciated about this product. Pros First off, the packaging was amazing. The heavy duty cardboard box was reinforced on the inside by a sturdy wooden frame. Every corner was protected, twice - a firm plastic sleeve within a flexible foam corner. Every edge was protected by a flexible foam slotted block, within the wooden frame. The front of the mirror was protected by a full-sized foam pad. The front of the mirror was also protected by a thin plastic 'screen protector". In addition to protecting the mirror while in transit, the screen protector prevented fingerprints during installation. The advertised size matched the actual size. Since it was exactly the same size as my old mirror, I did not have to repaint the wall. The mounting brackets permit horizontal or vertical installation. As Is true for most, the brackets are mounted in only three of four corners. Nevertheless, THIS manufacturer had the foresight to attach a spacing pad to the Fourth corner to prevent wobbling - and potentially breakage - during cleanings. In fact, they included a second spacing pad in the box for good measure. Oh yes, and the mounting brackets are metal, not plastic. Speaking of good measure, the bracket that mounts on the wall came with a built-in level and mounting screws. One day after receiving the mirror, the manufacturer sent a message to me. They wanted to let me know that they appreciated my business, hoped I was having a good experience and provided contact information, should I need assistance. (Wow!) Cons I wish that the mounting brackets were removable, so that I could re-purpose the edge mounts from the old mirror, but I understand why the mounts had to be permanently attached. The mounts are a bit thicker that I expected, so the mirror "floats" about 1/4 inch from the wall. Conclusion Quality vs. Price - This mirror was well worth the slightly higher price, when compared to the cheapest brand. Read more
