They may not be the prettiest shoes to wear, but they are warm and comfortable. I have wide feet and was looking for winter shoes that wouldn’t feel tight and uncomfortable. I ordered these in a size 7 -I typically wear a 6.5 and they fit perfectly! I wore them all day in freezing weather snow and ice. They stayed warm and dry. My feet didn’t hurt and the had great traction. I would highly recommend these to anyone! Read more

I purchased them to wear on a camping /hiking trip. They were so comfortable, I wear them all the time. The toe area is very roomy and the sole has traction for both hiking and snowy weather. My feet have stayed warm and dry in the snow. I plan to buy a second pair in another color. You can't beat the price for a barefoot shoe. They usually are somewhat pricey. Read more

I've been wearing xero brand barefoot shoes for over 5 yrs now. I was looking for a winter boot but didn't want to pay $100.+ since I wouldn't be wearing them as much as I wear non winter boots. I tried another brand a few weeks ago and they were so ight and uncomfortable that I had to send them back. I took a chance on this brand. I ordered the EU41 which is what I ordered in the other brand but these fit great. They have traditional shoe laces so you can pull the tongue down to get your foot in. They are soft. One thing I like about these is that I can wear thin socks and I can wear winter socks and I can still slip my foot in easily. They are great around the house and so far they are nice wearing outside. I haven't had the opportunity to wear them in snow yet to see if they are weatherproof. I hope they are. They are a little funky looking so if you don't like that order a darker color so it's less noticeable. There is no size on the bottom of the boot and the insert area where the size is, wears off pretty fast so make note of what size you have if you need. There is a little tag in EU size on the edge of the tongue. The soles on these seem nice and I feel they have good grip. I will still have to test that out in snowy/icy weather. So far I really like them and the price was affordable. I'll update how they hold up in rain/snow/ice. So far I'm very happy with these boots. Read more

I bought these a little over a year ago and I wear them every day. They still look like they're almost brand new. They're not waterproof but they are very durable. They're super comfortable and my feet are always warm because they are fuzzy inside. They're not heavy on my feet and they have good traction. Read more

I have been wearing barefoot shoes since this past summer and it has helped with my foot pain so much. But when winter hit, I didn't have anything appropriate for the cold weather. I decided to give these a try. They are super comfy and while the soles are thicker than my other barefoot shoes, I'm still getting the same results. My feet stay nice and toasty warm! I'm really glad I got these, they're well worth the money. They fit true to size and have a nice wide toe box. They appear to be well made and should last for quite a while. Also a bonus that they're a lot cuter than many of the other barefoot boots I looked at! I saw in other reviews that the laces are way too long, and I thought that also until I realized there is another set of holes toward the top of the boots. Once I laced through those, the laces are perfect! Read more

Reducing stars because I have worn them twice now and i have bruising on my legs and a sore on other one because of the boots. Otherwise the material is great, definitely warm (although it's only been in the 30's for low and got up to around 50° both Wednesday and Yesterday, Thanksgiving. I wanted to show my son's grandmother and aunt them because him and his grandmother and I wear barefoot shoes and his aunt and dad are looking into wearing them also but we were all worried about what to do about winter. I got these a few months ago so return window is closed. I just hope they become more softer/flexible in the shank, because they are very stiff and rigid. I didn't even think about it when I walked in my house after getting them to see how they fit. Fit was spot on, it's just the shank which is how I am not bruised and have a sore. (No shave November..) The shank goes up to where the bruise and sore are. I did go for a little under mile walk after eating yesterday and they were comfortable in the foot area just again the shank is the issue. They feel very durable so far .. If your a bigger person the shank may really really hurt your legs.. wish I could return them or the maker fix the issue! I want to sooo keep a 5 star review but I cannot. I have not tested how weather proof/resistant they are but it's supposed to really snow starting tonight into tomorrow for the whole upper midwest. Read more

Very cold and not waterproof! I got these to use at work as I'm outside for 2 to 5 hours a day and was super disappointed. For reference I live in Michigan and we have about a foot of snow with the temperature ranging from 20°F to 45°F. For the first 20 minutes they're fine but after that they become unbearable because they are not insulated and my toes freeze. They fit really nice and I tried just using extra socks to make up for the lack of warmth but it didn't work and both pair of socks got wet. I truly am very sad because the design is really nice and I prefer barefoot shoes but I can't use them. Read more
