This chair is very sturdy and comfortable. Good back support and cushy seat. I found that there was a missing part when I unpacked the box and started assembly. I contacted the seller through Amazon, and they sent out the missing part the same day. It was easy to assemble. The seat height is easy to raise. But in order to lower it, you must sit on the seat and then use the lever to lower it. That's a design flaw, because the chair can get wedged under a desktop if you don't lower it before exiting. My chair arrived about 4 days before it was initially expected. After reading all the reviews, I was fairly sure I wouldn't like this chair, but with it being under $70.00, it was all I could afford. I figured I would fix what was wrong, so many reviews mentioned many problems with this chair. I LOVE IT!!! I was surprised at how beautiful it is and how strong, the ease of putting it together with idiot proof directions. All of the parts are labeled, and it includes arrows pointing just in case you can't figure it out. The foot ring also supports my husband's 210-pound frame while he was getting into the super cushy seat. The backrest is also super cushy. It's NOT a kids chair as I suspected and it raises a few inches higher than our bar stool. I am a big woman and elderly, I was concerned about the size of the seat, whether it would be strong enough. The seat is bigger than my butt so that was a plus, it is very strong and stable. I think maybe the company fixed all the issues the public was having.
