This outfit looks great in person. It is made of a waffle knit material and is not see through at all. I felt like it draped nicely and was flattering. The bottoms were not too short, and although the top is a bit shorter than I normally wear it didn’t show any midriff and covered the high waisted shorts. I also typically shy away from stripes but these didn’t make me look wider, and the sleeve length was flattering for my flabby arms. For reference I am 5’5 and 130 pounds. I quickly grabbed this before leaving for a sunny vacation spot and was pleased with how it looked, nicer than denim shorts and a tee and not as formal as a dress. I would recommend. Read more

I like this set a lot. I bought it in blue stripe. It’s true to size and the shirt and shorts are not only comfortable but the fit is flattering. I was worried about the cropped top, but it’s the perfect amount of crop-not too short. The elastic waist is comfortable. You can dress it up or down and probably wear the pieces separately but I haven’t done that yet. The only thing I was surprised by is the fabric is kind of a waffle fabric which I didn’t notice in the pictures, but I actually think it works. This is a 10 out of 10. Super comfy - perfect for either a cute casual look or just lounging around the house. I love the slight texture / waffle knit of the material - it gives it a much higher end feel. If you have olive skin like I, the color is PERFECT. I am 120lbs, 5'6. I though the waistline was a bit too tight for me to wear this comfortably, It sits right above my waist and it felt it highlighted my "belly". the fabric is soft & very comfortable. It DID NOT look like a pajama & I loved the style of the shirt. I am a bit self-conscious of my bottom and I felt the fabric was too thin on that part of my body & highlighted the things I don't love. Don't let that stop you from purchasing this though, that's a me with me thing. Read more
