I recently used these Foldable Garment Bags for a trip, and they worked well for protecting my suit and my wife's gown. One of the key features I liked is that the bags fold into thirds, making them very convenient for travel. Made of lightweight plastic material, they look a bit flimsy at first glance, but they held up surprisingly well without tearing, even during a flight. So far, the zippers are functioning smoothly, and we haven't experienced any rips or issues with the material. While I’m not sure how long they will last with regular use, they’ve done the job perfectly for now. You can certainly use these garment bags for travel, and I intend to do so, but I have started using them immediately for a different purpose. I have several wool jackets and I don't want moths to get them. I had one long wool topcoat in my closet and a moth destroyed one tiny, tiny spot; but still, the coat was ruined. I'm placing my other, smaller (and thinner) wool jackets in these bags, and then folding them in half. The bottom handle can hook to the bag or hanger at the top. The bag is still long enough so that my coats don't get crumpled at the bottom. The bags seem to seal pretty well around the coats. These were perfect for me. I have a ton of long summer dresses that I hate just leaving in my closet to take up space. I decided to get these garment bags to put them in and then I can slide them under my bed. They don't hold a ton of dresses. I think I could squeeze 6-7 dresses in each bag. The bag itself was roomy but it's the hole for the hangers to go through that is tight. Either way it will keep my dresses out of the elements until next year! Read more
