I was really not happy with this soap at first. I had my damp dishrag, new soap, expected to get a lather, but no. That didn't happen. What did happen is really clean, shiny dishes, pots, pans and flat ware when I used the last century wash basin, rinse basin method. Some of this soap in the wash bowl will clean all the dishes. I washed all mine, let the water out, refilled the basin, and dipped to rinse. Perfect! This isn oil based cleanser, so you don't get all the bubbles. Of course we don't really need the bubbles. The dishes air dry quickly and if you take a moment to towel dry before putting them up, you get a nice, clean glow for your trouble. Flatware does want polishing. So if you need sudsy to believe you have clean dishes, don't buy this. If you can accept really clean dishes with almost no environmental footrpint...... please try this. Judging by the little bit I need to do a days dishes for one, this soap should last months. Read more
This is the 3rd brand of bar dish soap I’ve tried and definitely the best so far. Solid enough that it lasts a while but easy to use and lather. Light lemongrass scent is pleasant not too strong. Read more
I’m trying not to use plastic due to climate change so I bought this. You have to use hotter water than normal to cut grease. Works well. But it doesn’t last long! Mine is almost gone after a week after washing dishes three times a day for a family of two. Read more
A big fail for me. I often wash dishes over a period of time. I left it in the sink one a.m., walked away for a while, came back and it has half melted away. The premise of this is interesting, but not practical. Half the soap for a few dishes is way too expensive. Read more
It smelled good and I had high hopes, but it became apparent fairly quickly that it was not going to do the job. The first thing I noticed was the film it left behind, on my dishes and in my kitchen sink. Then I noticed that it was useless on grease. I suspect there is no vegan product that will handle grease well. I am unwilling to spend any more money to confirm my suspicion. I thought about using up the rest of the bar in the shower, but I didn't want that film in there. I ended up throwing it away and I am still mad at myself for wasting the money. Read more
My main concern for buying a bar dish soap was the residue, but this one does not leave anything behind. It is extremely easy to rinse off dishes and you only need a little bit on a dish brush to cut grease. Will be buying again. Read more
