Super cute shorts and well made. "Thick" material makes them feel like they're more expensive than they actual are which is a plus. The only down side is that they are too short for me. For reference I'm 5'1", 130 lbs and I purchased a Large. They come up higher than mid-thigh so I have to return them. I ordered these in medium blue, size M, and overall I really like them. The denim has nice stretch and feels comfortable all day, even when sitting or walking around. I love that the fabric is soft and stretchy and not stiff like classic denim, which makes them very comfy to wear in hot weather or if walking around a lot (no chafing!) The color is exactly as pictured, and I really love the distressed/ripped look and ability to dress up or down depending on the rest of your outfit. They’re very flattering and have a good mid-high rise. My only real note is about sizing, I usually float between M/L, but lately I’ve been more of a S/M and went with M to be safe. In these shorts, I definitely should have sized down to S for a snugger fit. Mid-rise shorts are becoming increasingly harder to find. When I saw these, I had to jump on them. The rise is perfect for me. I don't like high rise or low slung pants or shorts. Just a personal preference. I also adore a stretch denim. It's so nice to have something with a little bit of give. The stretch on these are really nice and they are super comfortable. They are also roomy through the thighs and not clingy. They fit true to size, and they were roomy enough that I could actually pull them on without unbuttoning them, but they are not too big. One thing to mention is that they are short. They cover your butt, but barely. They would work great for a pair of shorts to pull over a swimsuit during the summer for a beach walk I chose medium blue and the color is perfect, with distressed details and worn look. The rips are well placed and the cute fringed bottom make them truly look like an old pair of cut-offs. The stitching is nice and even, with good detailing and no uneven hems or loose threads. They have nice deep pockets, a good button and a sturdy zipper. The price is reasonable for the quality and styling. Read more

These shorts were five star quality all the way… until I washed them. 🙁 Straight out of the bag they were soft, dark black, and fit great. They have a good amount of stretch and the intentional holes in the shorts were large enough to be seen but small enough that I was not concerned the shorts would self destruct after a few wearings. Before I wore these in earnest I decided to wash them to get any manufacturers chemicals out. I put them in a mesh laundry (lingerie) bag, washed them in cold water, and did NOT put them in the dryer. Attached are photos about how they looked when I took them out of the mesh laundry bag. I wish that I had taken photos of the shorts before I washed them - maybe other reviewers have posted pictures so you can compare. After washing, the bottom hem of the shorts rolled up to the point where they are just too short, feel uncomfortable, and the overall look went from cute to trashy. I am really good with laundry and tried many ways to get the hem of the shorts to unroll and lay flat. Zero luck. There was a lot of dye that bled from the shorts, too. They look grey now. Th fabric is still comfortable and they are still stretchy, it’s just that they look cheap. After one wash these shorts look like they need to be replaced. I can’t say that these are a good value because the quality is shabby. I don’t recommend them.
