My volleyball playing daughter ALWAYS goes back to this brand and style! I have boughten so many V-Ball spandex from top brands like Nike & Adidas to align with other girls on the team. HOWEVER, those brands get worn once and then sit in the drawer. THESE are my daughters “go to” spandex! They are the ones my daughter says are most comfortable and don’t ride up as bad. High quality and thick material. Definitely meant for playing volleyball. The only thing about this I wish I knew before is that it’s very form fitting. I’m more on the curvier side and have thicker thighs but I’m normally a medium in all of the clothes I buy. When I’m playing, I find myself constantly having to pull my shorts down because they ride up. Not exactly sure if I would recommend sizing up, but if you have thicker thighs, maybe you should try. Got these in a size M for my curvy size 6 teen who usually wears a size S/M. They looked fine when she tried them on but once she started playing in them the shorts rode way up. They look like a swim suit bottom. I know that this is the style these days but just saying, if you're looking for shorts that look like shorts, consider sizing up or going with a longer inseam.
