works ok. be aware that back light is NOT persistent. you hafta tap the top of the display. back light comes on for approx 6 secs, then turns off. i prefer a clock that is back lit all night, so i can see it in the dark. if you can't see it to tap it, what good is it ? otherwise good. time in nice, big, thick numerals. rest of numerals are small & thin, but time is very easily readable. I actually bought this clock for a little wall clock so I can do it when I’m doing my crafts. It’s a little smaller than I thought but that was my fault. I didn’t check the dimensions and it could be a little brighter, but it works fine and if you want to use it for a travel o’clock at fold up early, it stands up really well And the stand covers the face when you’re traveling. it was easy to use the set the time, etc. you don’t need the manual really. I needed a small clock with thermometer to put on the bathroom vanity. I didn't need a weather forecast, outside temperature sensor, multiple time zones, or multiple alarms - this clock looked like it would fill the bill, and it does. It appears that the manual was not read or edited by a native English-speaker, but it was good enough to let me set the clock and choose Fahrenheit for the temperature. Read more
