I like that the company is environmentally friendly. I thought the amount of product was very small. I thought the powder was on the thin side. It was easy to apply, but I couldn’t really notice it much. That might have more to do with the color I chose. The overall quality seems good. Read more

This is a review for MOB Beauty Eyeshadow M28 Matte Rich Brown Plum. This is a neutral dark brown; I don't notice any plum in this color. I prefer their cream shadows to their powder. As deep as the shadow is, I expected very strong color payoff but this gives more of a medium pigment. I don't love it for liner because I keep having to go back in to the shadow to build up the color and I do notice fallout on my cheek, which isn't something I normally have an issue with. That said, I always do my eye makeup first, so it's not a big deal to clean up. As an eye shadow to deepen eye looks, I'm used to very pigmented shadows, so this took a little bit for me to get used to. The color does build and blend nicely. It's a creamy feeling matte and lasts on my eyes all day. I do use an eyeshadow primer whenever I'm applying eyeshadow. I think for someone who is newer with makeup or who struggles to not over apply, this would be great for them. For me, I want more color payoff and I don't want fallout when applying. Read more

Super impressed by the quality of this eyeshadow formula. It's soft, buttery and very richly pigmented. The swatch on my hand was one swipe in a single direction, and I lightly rubbed my finger in the pan. It's a beautiful neutral grey brown with a true matte finish. I mainly use this to set my eyeliner, but it's so versatile that I use it to fill in my brows and also for sultry smokey eye looks. It's very easy to blend, doesn't get patchy and is buildable. Although there is some kick back, it's not more so than other eyeshadows, I just tap the excess off before applying. The backing is magnetic and would work well in any zpalette or magnetic palette. I highly recommend using with an eye primer for vivid, strong color payoff and no creasing. Read more

I love the MOB brand cosmetics! They are so high quality and this eyeshadow is no exception. It is highly pigmented and goes on so smoothly. It only took a little to get the desired color on my lids, so a little goes a long way. I chose a darker, neutral brown color and really like how it matches my complexion and complements my eyes. It is easy to spread around and blend in. As far as longevity; it lasts all day until I take my makeup off in the evening.
