I was hesitant to buy boots online. These were a great choice. I was amazed at the padding which makes them comfortable to wear all day! The zipper in the back makes putting on and taking off a breeze. They look like I paid more then a hundred bucks for them! The small tassel on the back of the zipper adds a touch of unexpected style. I was surprised at the very nice quality...black suede-like color and material very comfortable. The cut is casual but stylish, flattering...works well with a dress. Only complaint is they seem to run a little big, even though other reviewers said true to size. I ordered my usual size, 8.5, but they were too big. Will exchange for smaller size. Beautiful boots. Well-made and the best "faux" leather I have experienced in similar boots. I originally ordered my normal size (7.5), but the fit was tight. I re-ordered an 8 which is a perfect fit and will allow me to even wear a light weight sock. I have what my sweet husband refers to as athletic legs which measure almost 15" at the calf. (years of weight training) The boot fit perfectly in the leg area and easily zipped up. If you have very thin legs, these might not be for you. Right boot fits perfectly fine. Left boot is extremely tight. Bought as a gift and return window was closed, would return if possible. The left is so tight, it can’t even be zipped the entire way and we confirmed the correct size was sent for both feet. Read more

I am 5'4" and the boots reach right at the knee which is exactly what I was looking for. The only reason I gave it 4.5 is because they run slightly big. I ordered my regular size (9) and they fit big in the foot area, but perfect around the calves area. I ordered half a size smaller 8.5 and they were perfect in the foot area, but they did not zip up in the calves area. I ended up keeping the size 9 because the width in the calves area is a few millimeters biggers allowing me to zip them up .
