I bought this for my boyfriend, when we had a little wiggle room in our budget because he was using a bath mat and couch pillow to pray for 2 years. He’s Muslim and I’m Christian, and he absolutely loves this mat. He says it’s extremely well made, and very well detailed. He’s finding it a lot more comfortable to pray on than his previous set up. This mat is the perfect size for just about any space. It’s large enough to fit someone who is quite tall while praying, my bf is 5’10.5”, but also small enough to fit well into an apartment, and small enough to travel with. As for the thickness, it feels very well padded, and my boyfriend is much more comfortable. He’s bragging to all his Muslim friends about this purchase! Bonus, this mat is made in Turkey, and he’s Turkish American, so if there’s anyone who’s Turkish who may be looking for a piece of home, it’s authentic. Read more
