I bought this fixture but my husband created a connection since i don’t have electricity running through my roof. It was a great choice and it looks beautiful in my living room. This is the best thing that happened to my living room. When we bought out house, it came with a clunky ceiling fan with lights on it. Our ceiling is kind of low so the fan was not helping. I was looking to change that with something nicer but sleeker. Looking into Amazon, when I saw this, couldn't believe the price and beauty. I bought this light fixture to update some outdated early 2000s lighting and was initially drawn in by the modern design and budget-friendly price. It does look stylish at first glance, but the gold finish leans more toward rose gold in person, which cheapens the overall feel a bit. The lights can technically be repositioned, but they don’t stay firmly in place, which can be frustrating if you’re aiming for a specific look. Also, I didn’t totally think through the exposed bulbs — in a kid space where toys occasionally go flying, it’s not the best match. Might work well in a hallway or guest room, but probably not the best fit for active, kid-filled areas. Read more
