I picked these lights up a little while ago and overall I’m pretty happy with them. They look great once installed! Way brighter and more modern than the old fixtures I had. These higher quality than I expected for the price. The setup was not super straightforward. The instructions could be a little clearer (had to watch a quick YouTube clip to figure some of it out), and the mounting hardware felt a bit flimsy. You might want to just upgrade that to something better if you’re putting them up long-term. My expectations for this light were honestly not very high. Ive basically used solely lights from Amazon to switch out all the fixtures that were in the home we moved into last year and a ton of them left a lot to be desired. They look sooo much nicer in person than they do in the listing photos. After I ordered them looking back at the photos in the listing I was second guessing my choice but I’m so glad I decided on these. They look so classy. They have a blend of vintage and traditional charm with the modern look of the matte black, it’s perfect. The size is also exactly what I needed. The bottom floor of my house has a half bath and a hallway that had these teeny tiny lights in them and I was struggling to find light fixtures that looked good in the small size. These fit the bill. They came packaged super securely. Each individual light has its own plastic bag with instructions and the necessary parts for installation. Even though theyre the same light having the caps and instructions in separate bags is helpful because I was able to get my husband to install one and having it separated meant we didn’t lose and pieces when we couldn’t install the second light on the same day. The glass is super thick and has great weight. The metal is actually thicker than other lights I’ve purchased as well so it just feels way more sturdy and higher quality. I LOVE the way it makes a pretty design on the cueing when the light is on. It brightens up the bathroom beautifully and updates it. I like architecture from all eras. Big box stores don’t get it. Everything looks just the same boring style as everyone else. Everyone else being whatever the latest trend is this year, and usually cheap. These little fixtures break that trend and give you a historical feel to a simple fixture to fit the time period that you want to express. These are simple fixtures. Not heavy antique material, but they look right for the time. Everything about the wiring is fine. They install as easily as any other simple fixture, but there is something about them that has an old-timey look. I like the tulip glass shade that casts an interesting ray of light on the ceiling. The bulb is exposed (which makes them easy to change, fyi) but the glass is held on in an interesting way. The 7” round glass bowl is installed to be held on over the lamp socket with a collar that matches the color of the base. The 7” round fixtures are small and are perfect for small spaces like a hallway, closet or bathroom. The package of 2 7” round fixtures are packaged very well in molded Styrofoam and a sturdy cardboard box. It includes all the wires and screws that are required for installation.
