Nice, but super thin
When I first got these I almost flew to Amazon to give them a bad rating. I don't tend to think of "luxury" as paper thin, so these being comically thin towels was displeasing. Still, I thought to give them a shot before I ruled them out. They're now my favorite summer towels. They dry excellently and put up with a good deal of abuse. That said, I did notice a few loose threads, and while they do give off a "hotel" vibe well enough, the picture seems to imply that they're more plush than they are. Great towels. Wash well. Fabric is sturdy even with bleach wash. No shrinking or shape changes. A little smaller then an average towel but i did buy the standard size not the bath sheet. Read more
Nice Basic Towels
My theory on bath towels is to use what the hotels use--they need to withstand a lot of abuse and still look good. I'm not sure whether or not hotels actually use these, but it's plausible. These are not high-end resort-style towels. They are basic, soft cotton towels. They aren't super thick but also don't feel too thin. I'd say these are perfect for everyday use. They're soft, absorbent, and good-looking. The towels came nicely bundled. Each one has a small stiff cardboard tag and a super long care tag that needs to be cut off before use. As a "hotel towel," I was a little surprised that these advise against using chlorine bleach, as that's what all hotels do. I'm going to try it anyway. It may shorten their life a bit, but what's the point of white hotel towels if you can't bleach them? These are great everyday towels, and I'd recommend them if the price is competitive. Read more
