This is a nice product. Excellent finish. All the parts you need if you are doing new work. If you are retro-fitting this to a Moen Posi-Temp in your wall, keep in mind that this might or might not work depending on how far back your valve sits from the finished wall. Mine was set back farther, so neither the screws nor the center tube worked. I had to re-use a lot of the old installation (center tube, spacer, screws) and I had to cut one of the old screws down because it was too long but the new screw was way too short. All in all, I'm happy with the end result. If you are going to the trouble of replacing your valve trim, I'd recommend changing your cartridge while you're at it--and buy the cartridge removal tool if you want a faster & smoother cartridge swap. Also, Moen makes a commercial version of the cartridge which gets good reviews. I needed the replacement cartridge soon, so I bought the residential version, but I would have preferred the heavier duty one. Read more

This Moen Posi-Temp handle trim was a perfect fit. So happy with the purchase, I'm glad I purchased one for each bathroom, now they are refreshed. It was a straight forward DIY install, as long as you have the tools to do so. They turn smooth and function as they should, with no wiggle. Such a small change but dramatic difference. Got them on sale last week so definitely worth it's value. I highly recommend changing those old weathered out Posi-temp valve handles. Read more

We recently moved back into our house that we have rented out for the last 15 years. The shower has had this leak from the handle that is pure hot water. I got tired of burning myself so I figure I would replace the old Shower handle. Behind this is the cartridge. The cartridge is usually the issue with a leak or inconsistent temperature. I was prepared for this and bought a new cartridge and the remover tool. I had no idea what I was getting into. I think the shower cartridge was the original one that came with the house. It was so corroded and stuck, it took me hours to chisel the pieces out. Once that part was done the install was easy and the new faucet looks amazing and it was a great price. Make sure you know what type of valve you have behind the wall. Not all The valve that this ties into is specific to the brand. Not all handles will work with all valves. Also, make sure to change that cartridge before it becomes a real problem. Read more
