This Moen faucet is not only beautiful but you can feel the quality of the product instantly. My husband and I can do a few things around the house (paint, assemble furniture, install a ceiling fan, etc) but haven’t done anything with plumbing, so we were a little nervous. From the second we unboxed it we knew we were going to be fine. There were very few connections to make and they even included a tool, which, if you’re not a plumber you probably don’t have laying around the house. The instructions were very well written and easy to follow. The only frustration we had was getting the old faucet out, the install was SO easy, even for a beginner. You get what you pay for. East to install, I just had new solid surface vanity tops made so I had to drill a 1 1/8" hole for this to go into. Instructions do not include that measurement, up to 1 1/4" will work and still allow o'ring on bottom of faucet to seal against top. Hoses were plenty long enough to reach shut off valves. Two tools included, one for tightening nut that holds faucet onto vanity top, and the special tool for removing the strainer from the spout. Makes it very easy to clean any debris out of screen in strainer. Read more
