Moen TS6205 Rothbury Two-Handle Low Arc Bathroom Faucet without Valve Chrome

This is a very nice faucet. Be sure not to throw away the little green key ( as I did), that you need to loosen the inside screen to the faucet, if you ever need to change out or to clean the inner screen. Moen was very nice and mailed me a new one, free of charge and that solved the problem. This faucet has clean simple design and looks really beautiful when installed. I replaced my cheap bathroom faucet with the Moen Rothbury and couldn't be happier. I really like the low arc design and feel of the chrome on the handles. I usually don't like chrome fixtures since I think they look cheap, but the Rothbury has a very solid feel to it and almost looks more like a nickel faucet in terms of quality. It should be emphasized that this faucet does not include the valve and drain pipe that you will usually get with a faucet set. Most people's existing drains should work with it already, however you might need to replace the valve if the threads don't match. The one I had already worked fine so this wasn't necessary. If you need the full kit with the valves, you should purchase the Moen T6205-9000 Rothbury Two-Handle Low Arc Bathroom Faucet with Valve, Chrome or for an even better deal, just purchase this faucet with the Moen Rough-In Valve separately. You can also likely find a universal valve set for much cheaper than the Moen valve that will work just fine. The only part of the valve that is even visible is the top of the drain. Since this faucet didn't require installation of the valve as well, installation took less than ten minutes and it looks great. Read more

This is the faucet and valve trim - not the valve itself. You will need Moen 9000 M-PACT Widespread Lavatory Rough-In Valve with Drain Assembly to fully outfit a new sink. The instructions for assembly and installation were excellent. I am not a plumber but am fairly handy. I used this set to replace an old set on a pedestal sink in my guest bath. The pieces were very solid and feel well made. They work very well with the Moen valve system linked above. These look great and do not retain water spots. They are very easy to clean, and I have not noticed any ill effects from hand or bar soap. The handles give a nice easy grip to tiny (toddler) or wet soapy hands. It functions perfectly. One installation hint, make sure you don't switch the hot and cold faucets. They are not labeled. Hot goes on the left, and cold on the right. If installed backwards, the handles won't rotate as expected. (This is more of a function of the valve assembly, than this trim kit.) Read more

This low profile faucet is lovely and elegant and will add a touch of class to any bathroom decor. Please keep in mind that you will need to get the Moen 9000 Valve with Drain Assembly since faucet does not come with the valve kit. Made of a solid heavy duty metal covered in a highly reflective chrome finish. Comes with an extra drain cover, water saver adapter and screen. The water saver and screen can easily be removed with the included removal tool that is included. The only negative comment I can say is that the handles are not labeled for hot (H) or cold (C) water.
