It was 30F degrees outside the day this arrived. So, I thought it would be a great time to test out the hoodie. The fleece lining was comfortable. The outer fabric was soft and looked durable. It even helped to keep me warm when I was standing outside in it. There was no wind blowing, so I don't know yet how well it would work in a blustery Winter environment. However, I was happy with the fit and function of the main portion of the jacket. But, there were a couple of quirks. These quirks do not take away from the functionality of the hoodie, yet they are still noticeable. The first quirk is the zipper. I don't know if there are different standards between countries, or even genders when it comes to zippers, but this zipper has the insertion pin on the right side, and it goes into the pin box on the left side. This is completely backward to any jacket or coat I ever used in my life. It still functions well as a proper zipper, but the components are arranged on opposite sides of what I have always considered normal. The other thing that seemed quirky was the size of the hood. It seemed to be a bit larger than normal. This may be a standard size for fashion's sake. I'm not an expert on fashion. I do remember large butterfly collars on shirts in the 1970s that were functionally useless but were considered fashionable. So a large hood on a jacket like this might be normal. However, I felt I was wearing a Jedi's hood when it was hanging over my head. It seemed to spread out a bit around the neckline. Personally, I hardly ever pull up a hood on a hooded jacket. This could be a functional thing though, because if I was wearing a wool cap, and decided also to pull up this hood, it would probably fit well over the cap. Read more

It’s ok. It is warm, but the “ Sherpa lining”, not so much. More plastic than fabric. It does look good, but I’m afraid after a few washings Sherpa will be no more. Read more

Bought one for myself. Had to buy one for hubby. This classic style front zip hoodie is well constructed. Good solid zipper. The material is thick and durable. The Sherpa lining is warm, downright yummy. Pockets are gracious. Lots of colours to choose. Easy maintenance as it washes and machine dries nicely. It’s the perfect winter go-to when you just need a warm jacket. It’s a little long on me (5’4”) but it keeps me warm and comfy even on windy days.
