My mother typically has a good standard for how shoes look, so I was pleasantly surprised when she commented that they looked pretty good. I say pleasantly surprised due to the very affordable cost. The shoe was true to size for me. I'm a 10.5 and depending on the make, I fit in either a 10.5 or 11 and this was an 11. I was also pleasantly surprised by the toebox size. I tend to need wide shoes, and while I don't think this show is a W, it fit my wide feet snuggly. The black is a classic color and I don't have anything to complain about that. And now for what you probably really want to know, the comfort. I have about average feet, no high arches and no flat feet. I wore the shoes all day from the early morning til the late afternoon. I went to church in the morning, walked a lot midday, and performed some violin while standing in the afternoon. On the whole the shoe was comfortable, especially the front. Not like memory foam or anything, but comfortable enough to walk in for several hours. I did take off one star because the heel could have used a little more padding. I didn't feel pain in my heel, but I didn't feel a 5 star experience either. Another plus was the wax on the shoe. They put a thin layer of clear wax on the shoe which helps with water resistance and offers a mild protection against scratchs. If I wanted a nice shoe for going out in public that wasn't $100, I would definitely go for a shoe like this. Read more

$30 bucks is a pretty moderate cost for a pair of casual/business casual shoes nowadays. These are a pretty nice value for that investment! The shoe has a handsome appearance and looks heavier than it is. The pair is a medium light weight and quite comfortable. I ordered 11’s and the sizing appears to run pretty true to call out. The upper material appears pretty durable and wipes clean quick with a damp cloth and doesn’t seem to scuff up super easily. The seams and stitching are smooth and nicely finished with a moderate padding insole inside. The insole isn’t what I would necessarily call thick or plush, but it is certainly noticeable and helps these be comfy for a full days wear. Read more
