I purchased these moissinite earrings right after Christmas, on sale for $22 for the set that are 1/2 carot each for a total of 1 carot for the pair. These are not as sparkly as jewelry store moissinite, but I didn't pay the $$$ for them either. I am satisfied with the sparkle and fit of the earrings. They are set in gold plated settings and posts. I selected the yellow gold plating. I like the look very much and (for me) find the size I purchased to be very attractive in my ears. Because they are just gold plated and I have sensitive ears I am babying them along by taking them out at night (I can't sleep in posts anyway) and not wearing them in the shower. I hope the gold plating lasts and does not tarnish with careful use. I like that they come with clear silicon backs that fit quite snug on the earring posts to help ensure I don't accidentally lose an earring. I kept seeing social media posts tauting these earrings. I ordered sterling silver studs that are 1.5 carats each. STUNNING! I do own yellow gold diamond and black diamond studs already but they are 1 carat and .50 carats so wanted to go big or go home! I have worn them for 7 days straight with no issues whatsoever. I do understand how some reviewers would be annoyed with the plastic back but I have long hair so nobody would even notice. I have found the backs to be very sturdy and comfortable. I do not wear any jewerly to sleep or shower so I cannot comment on how that type of continous wear. I think these are well worth the price tag and seriously in this day and age can anybody really tell real from fake except a jeweler. Buy them! Read more
