Is it possible for something to be too beautiful? Probably not, but these might come close. They are indeed stunning - bright and sparkly right from the box that's lit up even more with an LED light from inside. I wasn't expecting them to be so big. I was hoping for something I could wear to work, more of a daily, classic, understated, thing. These are definitely more formal, showy, night-out-on-the-town kind of earrings. Also, I'm not sure I could pull off something like this. Everyone I know knows I couldn't afford REAL diamonds this big, and I hate to wear something so obviously out of my league. But maybe that's just my hangup... A couple other things about the design: the posts on these are extra long. I guess that's good for keeping the back on in that it has farther to go to wiggle its way off if it should ever get snagged on something, but you definitely wouldn't want to fall asleep in these - the post is practically touching my neck as it is, I couldn't imagine laying on it for hours! Second, one of my posts was bent. I didn't notice it when I first put them on, so maybe it wasn't that way when it arrived and it happened when I was trying to secure the backing, but nonetheless, if that's the case, the post bent on the first use to just try them on. Finally, I'm not sure the post is positioned in the best place as the earrings seem to almost droop forward from their own weight. The post is right in the center of the earring. I think if it were positioned at the outside edge somewhere, making that the "top" of the earring, that would prevent it from drooping. Lastly, although these claim to sterling silver, hypoallergenic, nickel and lead free, sadly, my ears were irritated and burning after just a few minutes of wear. Maybe I'm hyper-allergenic? I am so obsessed with these earrings, they are seriously sparkly and eye-catching!!! These are super legit, they come with two certificates of authenticity, one for each stud, as well as the warranty card which instructs you on how to register them. The box they come in is a very pretty shade of blue, and when you open it, a little LED light turns on inside the top of the lid, which totally brings the earrings to life! They are SO sparkly, and so clear and brilliant, you will get so many compliments on these!! The only downfall is the backs, which were VERY loose, and even after pinching them around the post as you are supposed to be able to do to "lock" them in place, they were still far too loose for me to trust. My Daughter and I have lost SO many earrings due to bad backs, so I knew I had to get something more secure. I got some off another pair of my earrings, and I will recommend using backs specifically for heavier earrings, so they don't droop down at all. They are pretty large earrings, not exactly the lightest, so that is how they will look their best! Overall, I HIGHLY Recommend these incredible Moissanite and Silver Earrings!! Everything about them is SO nice and fancy, you will feel confident wearing them especially after looking at the official GRA Moissanite Report of the quality and authenticity of each Gem, from the Local Gemological Research Academy!! The posts are also labeled with S925, as are the backs. These would make such a lovely gift to make any lady feel extra special. At this price point, I knew I wasn’t getting diamond earrings for my wife. That said, at this price point I was expecting a “WOW!” factor. These did not disappoint! The earrings come in a very attractive, silky-feel box. Very nice! When my wife opened the box, we were both surprised that there was a built-in light that shined down on the earrings making them sparkle brightly! Her reaction: WOW! Mission accomplished! I’ve included a couple of photos showing the earrings and the light. After trying them on, my wife LOVES how they look on her. They’re not too big or too small. For now, she plans to keep them in the original case. I’m sure that the battery for the light will eventually quit, but that’s to be expected.
