You're good to order this now - super simple. Before i ordered this, I read the bad reviews and the middle reviews too, to see if there are any legitimate problems. But now after receiving this and then pairing it with a simple rotatable cell-phone tripod shoe-mount (purchased separately), I am glad I didn't keep looking for something else or something more complicated. The teeeeny tiniest issue is that the the bolt is a bit too short to easily get the screw-in to whatever you're screwing into to catch (because of the rubber washer thickness). But don't give up, you just have to keep it lined up and press (to compress the rubber washer enough), to get the threads to meet each other. A screwdriver helps. And the groove of the bolt-head is big and will work with any screwdriver. And unexpected bonus - the item is wide enough that it works as a desktop stand just as easily as on top of your monitor. Doesn't tip easily, even with a lightning cable plugged-in so you can keep charging while in-use. Read more

I don't understand all of the reviews that says this is flimsy or unstable. I find it to be neither. Yes, it's unassuming and simple but it works. It stays in place and holds my webcam on top of my monitor very well. And without a giant gooseneck arm catching my attention. I don't even know it's there. The bezel on my monitor is very small yet I still don't see this mount in the screen. I highly recommend this. Read more

I attached my Litra Glow to this for a monitor mount and it's great! The Litra doesn't come with a great mount if your monitor has a hump on the back (i.e. not super thin). This works well. The Litra is top heavy...so it'll tip over front-wise if you angle the light too far forward. Otherwise, it's perfect. Build quality is good, it's flexible, and a smart little design. This is waaay overpriced for what it is. It's flimsy and not a secure way to mount a substantial webcam. I have a Mevo Start and the image was shaky due to mild monitor movement. It held the camera but seemed very top heavy and unstable. Ended up returning this in favor of a small tripod. It might be good for very specific scenarios with light webcams, but is still not a $10 item. Read more

Does exactly what it's suppose to do. It's much firmer than the webcam stand that came with my webcam. Because of that it actually holds its position. Not sure why it's been so poorly rated here? It's the best option I could find online Read more
