I wish I had used these specific ones sooner. We have been using cotton cleaners like this to clean in between eating or at the end of the night along with attempting to brush with a traditional tooth brush. These have been a great quick alternative to the scary toothbrush. These soften quickly with dipping them in water. They appear softer and have more cotton on the actual stick compared to others that I’ve tried. These are also great for teething because they’re soft, cool from the water, but provide the comfort most babies like with biting down on something to relieve the pain. I’m on my third baby, and now that I’m a little older and more experienced, I’ve learned what really works. My baby is 5 months old, and I’ve been using these for about two and a half months. I use them every morning and every night. When I brush my own teeth in front of him, he watches closely — so when it’s time for me to clean his gums and tongue with these cotton swabs, he already knows what’s coming and opens up willingly.
