Great backpack. Often use as a carry on and I've even fit it under the seats in airplanes as long as it's not packed too full. It is sturdy, has lots of useful pockets and compartments and the material is strong enough even when I do pack it till the zippers want to scream they still hold up and haven't failed me yet. The black material is easy to clean and it's a great weekend bag. Especially when you want to bring a good amount of stuff and still be hands free. I travel a lot, both for business and for pleasure. The compliments keep coming on the look of the backpack. The Dimensions are 18.4” x 12.8” x 7.9” and will fit under the airplane seat for Spirit, Frontier or United flights as a personal item. The compression straps on the side are a little bigger than the bag and you can use a carabiner to attach things to the side straps. The zipper pulls have the capacity to be locked together in anti-theft (see pic - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BCGFJGX5?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details). So, I am a Plus Size Woman (2x) and I can get 5 days’ worth of clothing into this bag. I have tried to stretch it to 7 days, but then my laptop won’t fit. In the very front pocket of the bag, I currently have; 1 Shawl/Wrap for cool times, and 1 foldable duffle (18x14x8 unfolded) just in case I need to bring something home. Both bags serve as personal items, so the backpack can go in the overhead bin, or under the seat. The packable duffle and crossbody purse go under the seat in front of me on the airplane. I use compression packing cubes in order to get more clothes in the bag and save space. What I can get into the bag and still have a little room…. My 14” laptop and mouse fit in the padded laptop sleeve in the back of the backpack and my 18 oz water bottle in the mesh side pocket. Clothing List: 6 pairs of undies, 5 shirts, 5 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of shorts, 2 dresses, 1 skirt, 1 extra Bra, 1 sleep set and 1 pair of sandals. In the Wet Bag: 2 oz face wash, 2 oz toner, 3 oz hydrogen peroxide, 1 oz foundation, 1 oz lotion, 1 oz olive oil, 3 oz shampoo, 3 oz conditioner, 1 soap bar, Neosporin for the current skinned knee, ChapStick, Razor, mini-Hairbrush, 4 laundry soap pods, 4 dryer sheets, Tide Pen, allergy med pouch, makeup bag. This bag is beautiful and utilitarian, I love it. I have taken it on a 2 x 4-day trips, 2 x 5-day trips and 3-day weekend. I feel like a smaller woman could probably get 7 or 8 days in this backpack and travel for one month fairly easy. It’s not expensive, but it looks like it is. I bought this for a cruise for my husband and I to use and honestly it was amazing. It fit perfectly under the seat on the plane and it held both our clothing, electronics, toiletries and even snacks comfortably. It has a lot of compartments and it's very easy to carry around on your back since it has the cushion and it also has a built-in charger for your phone so you don't have to go find a charger at the airport.
