Does the job

Bought this one for the wife since she wanted a lighter color than the black one I got for myself. Use and wear is same so this is really a copy and paste review of mine, but I stand by it. Purchased for trip overseas. Better than the infernal fanny pack. Easy enough to tuck into pants and with a shirt or jacket hanging over allows me to carry some small items. I doubt that a phone will fit without showing as a pregnancy bulge. A few bills, maybe a credit card, and some assorted pocket litter before it gets too bulky. But anything that's supposed to be discrete isn't made to hold a suitcase worth of stuff! The clip seems awfully flimsy and doesn't seems to be sturdy enough to really hold things closed. Looping a metal key ring through both ends of the elastic band will do just fine. With the elastic band it's easy enough to adjust the size and simply step into and out of it, since the key ring will prevent the clip to open. RFID blocking? Maybe, but who cares. There is not enough evidence that this is even an issue. What criminal would spend money on scanning equipment on the off-chance of snatching useless information? The whole point of RFID/tap/swipe/wave cards is to use one-time codes and not have or transmit sensitive data. Just like the covers of (US) passports for the last, what 10, 12 years or longer are RFID blocking already. I'd be more worried that I leave my card or wallet than an RFID snatcher. But that's me. It's seems comfortable enough even sitting down and the wife has decided she wants one, too. So it can't be that bad. For the price I don't really expect it to last 10-years and will be happy if it makes it through this one. Update post-trip: worked surprisingly well during our 4 week trip. Wore it daily and it was fairly comfortable. All I had in it was some bills and gum, so it wasn't stuffed or fat. Kept my phone in my front pocket and kept my hand in there as well. Trying to put a phone in this pouch creates an uncomfortable lump. The above mentioned metal keyring looped through the elastic ends worked just fine. Ok, maybe not for every shape and size but it did for me. Read more

Comfortable

Comfort - you must understand we are all shaped differently which will undoubtedly have an effect on how comfortable the belt will feel. I am 5 8 and 150. There was ample belt length adjustment for me. For me it is comfortable. Buckle - plastic. My guess if you are breaking the buckle early on it's because you have the belt adjusted too tightly. Before you complain about the zipper durability, note that they provide instructions on how to open the zippers. Why you ask. Because they don't want you to just yank on the fabric pulls. You are to hold the metal zipper tab itself and pull across holding down close to the bag.. Not put up and out and across. I see the logic in this. It's not a duffle bag designed for that kind of use/abuse. Capacity - i have no problems carrying my Passport, a few cards and some cash in this with room to spare. Price point - acceptable for the product. Durability - it doesn't have to last a lifetime at this price but I don't see any issues if i treat the zippers appropriately. Read more

Worked as I hoped

This was great for a 3 week trip in Spain. It was comfortable, discrete, and accessible when needed. I wore it while carrying a backpack on the Camino de Santiago, then used it while exploring beach towns on the Costa del Sol. I used the supplied RFID envelopes, but I really have no idea whether they worked or not. Read more

Lanney Travel Money Belt

This money belt seems to be very well made. It’s very light-weight and there are plenty of pockets for various size items. It’s obvious you can’t fill it with bulky items, or else it would show through your clothing. The elastic belt was easily adjusted to fit my waist. However, a much larger person would need more belt elastic to accommodate them. I haven’t used the money belt yet, but appreciated the tip about not being able to wear it through metal detectors. I wouldn’t want to have to remove it in the scanning line at the airport. A very useful, affordable product for a traveler. The extra RFID sleeves were a nice bonus. Read more

Comfortable and slim money belt

This worked really well for holding credit cards, passport, and cash while we were traveling. My husband wore this money belt under his shirt at his waistband for a week no without issue. It was lightweight, comfortable, very adjustable for a lot of sizes, and kept our valuable secure. Lightweight but durable feeling - I thought it was a good value for the money. Read more

Too big, bulgey, and stiff for long trips.

Basically a good product. But for me it is too oversized and too stiff to wear under garments comfortably. Will keep it only as a backup. Will experiment using it for a smart phone holster, like during running, although it would look pretty stupid. I do not understand reviewers who say this is very thin and flat and tucks into clothing comfortably and its bulge is not obvious. What kind of floppy clothes do they wear? Read more

Great for travel or everyday use

Great size. I can slide my galaxy A54 into the back. The front pocket is a great size and I put change in it. he main pocket has a mesh on the back of the pocket my cards are a perfect fit for the smaller of the 2 mesh pockets. The main pocket will hold my passport. I had my first one for 5 years. I bought it for travel but was impressed enough to keep using it everyday. I love the RFID feature. I often travel by motorcycle and it is super convenient and takes up no space. It is great for flying. I have had no issues with any of the cards I carry in it. My original is still great but after 5 years the elastic band is starting to show some wear. So I decided to replace it with the same company as my first one. Read more
