Monster Energy Ultra Blue Hawaiian Sugar Free Energy Drink 16 Ounce Pack of 15

Former Coca-Cola addict, current diabetic here. I searched far and wide for a reliable energy drink devoid of sugar and stumbled upon the Monster Ultra Line. I liked the grape the best initially, the orange is tolerable as long as it remains ice cold, and the rest is sorta so-so. When traveling, pretty much the only flavor you can rely on finding is the citrus. I accidently bought Blue Hawaiian a few months ago when I had thought I was buying the Blue and...WOW! This drink is incredible! All that is missing is the rum! Ideas that Amazon wants me to write about...hmmm...relaxation effect? Well, that's a dichotomy. The taste will relax you, but....it's an energy drink? The drink does ramp me up, but only from a slumber to just being approachable. The ease of use? Well, you shouldn't have more than three of these in a day or you'll exceed the maximum daily dosage of caffeine (400mg). One of these is around 90mg, which translates to about two cups of coffee. I pop one open at 5 a.m when I get up and I finish it around 10 a.m. Not sure about the calorie count, but hey...who really counts their calories anymore? Calorie count. Size? It comes in the 16 ounce, but I wish they would offer a 24 ounce size like they do the other flavors. Value for the money? Hey, it gets me moving in the morning and that's something I'll buy any day. I have a problem with how much I adore this flavor... Delicious, it's still but the color/design of the can is beautiful (so many pretty details!), low calorie if you're worried about that, can holds up well to the Zon's take & toss policy onto your front porches... so they survive that journey (even when the box doesn't) so no leaking, etc. Price point is comparable to the Big Box Membership Places like the Cost-Company... if ya catch my drift. My new favorite flavor. Taste like pineapple but is not overly sweet. I also like that it is zero sugar. The can is kind of funky too with the artwork. Been ordering this for the last few months on auto delivery and it gives me to pick me up I need to keep going through my day. Read more

Delicious drinks, and a fair price per can. Only thing is the amazon box had no internal protection and absolutely desamated the monster box inside and damaged some cans while being transported. So far havent found a defective can, but my friend who convinced me to order it online versus the store got a sealed can with maybe an oz of liquid in it. Read more

My absolute favorite monster flavor. Super fruity and it is hard to explain but it tastes "blue" very flavorful and on the candy taste of things. If you told me this was real sugar I'd believe you. Read more
