I recently realized that I just can't survive without a larger-sized handbag. Once you have kids, then follow up with grandkids, there are just some things you can no longer do without when you go out to do shopping or practically any other function. I have some larger handbags, which I love; but they have great designer-type touches to them that they aren't as functional as a plain BIG bag without any angles to the design which eliminates more inside space than you would think. I still like to coordinate my handbags with the clothes I wear when I go out. I started looking for larger, plain bags that would hold a lot but still look good. I found these Montana West bags and realized this was the best solution for what I wanted. They have a large selection of colors, so I can coordinate the bags with my wardrobe. They appear to be well made, but I haven't had them very long to put them to the test. I also discovered, since they are a great size with one large open space inside, the convenience of bag organizers. For those who may not know, a bag organizer is an insert (available in different sizes) that holds whatever contents you want to carry in your handbags. That was when I decided to get the Montana West bags in the different colors I wanted, then use the organizer so I could just lift it out of one color of handbag and place it in the new color. It is so nice to not have to empty out your complete handbag contents, then not have to try to get them all back into a different handbag that may not be quite as roomy as the first. I have the black one & it is a very nice quality. Fells well made. The only complaint is at first it had a chemical smell on the inside. I did have to air it out for awhile, but the smell did go away. Has a lot of room & can easily swing over arm. I also like the contrast of black on the outside & the bright pink on the inside. I’ve had this bag for over a year, and the dang thing is still going strong. I don’t treat purses gently—I use mine like a suitcase. Clothes, makeup, baby wipes, snacks, receipts from six months ago… if it fits, it’s going in. So if you’re looking for the perfect carry on bag to travel with, she’s your girl. Despite being stuffed to the brim and tossed from the front seat to the back seat of my car daily, this bag hasn’t given up on me. The straps are still intact, the zipper works perfectly, and it somehow still looks stylish. This bag is so durable, honestly, I could take this thing to war and it would probably come out looking better than me. What I love most: the roomy and cute pink interior, the secure top zipper, organized pockets, and the strap that doesn’t dig into your shoulder when it’s fully loaded. If you’re carrying your entire life with you everywhere you go, this tote’s got you covered. I also didn’t notice any odd cheap plastic smells when I first got it, so I knew I had good quality.
