Extra peace of mind when selling at different events.
My wife and I own a small side business making candles, and over the last couple of years we have grown enough to expand to selling at festivals and events. Initially we used a card payment method that required someone handing us thier card and us swiping it through a reader plugged into our phones, but understandably most people were uneasy with this method. So after some research I made the swap to a POS (point of sale) system that is handled through my iPad Pro, and with this system the customer is the one handling not only the card swap, but also all of the steps of the purchase on the tablet. At first we just kept the iPad Pro on the table or handed it to the customer during a purchase, but after having multiple people drop the tablet, I decided to go a more secure route. I was surfing Amazon one night and stumbled upon this stand, then saw that it was also “Anti-Theft” and was highly interested so I put it in my cart and ordered it. When it delivered I was caught off guard by how much it weighed, and after I got it unboxed I quickly realized why it was heavier than expected….. this stand is VERY WELL MADE!!! After I got all of the components out of the box and plastic covered each one, I was blown away by just how well it is made. I got it put together (didn’t mount it to anything yet), then after connecting my iPad Pro to it and testing out the lock (built into the base of the stand), I was sold. During our next event (local muncipality chili cookoff) we were set up under a pop-up tent, and we were using our portable plastic folding table. I drilled the needed holes through the plastic and used hardware I purchased on the way to the event to secure the stand to the table. This stand has made our events so much less stressful overall because I am not worried about someone walking off with my iPad Pro, nor am I worried about it being dropped and damaged.
