I was almost discouraged because I saw another review saying that they would be too big. These are actually perfect. I am 4’7 and I wear a size 4 shoe and they’re really nice. They seem to fit me. I don’t notice any shedding. They are pretty warm and I plan to use these when I go out since I wear dresses all the time. I definitely say if you are small or whatever the case may be, I think you should be able to buy them. They do have stretch to them so if you are bigger than a size 4 shoe, you should be fine. These are fantastically warm, fuzzy socks, but they are definitely for tall people. For reference, I am four foot 11 and 100 lb and I could probably make a pair of pants out of these, lol. Even folding them over, they're still a bit too long and have to be scrunched throughout. On my short legs, it looks a little silly, but on someone taller they would look great. Even the foot is a bit large for my size 5 to 6 shoe/feet. Unfortunately, like most of these socks, the band at the top is a little bit tight. My legs are on the slimmer but muscular side, and they were a little bit comfortable after an hour. Normally this would be a good thing to some degree because it would help them stay up, but the socks are naturally bunchy and tend to slide down throughout the day so mostly you end up with a super tight top, and sagging bottom sock. If you wear thigh high socks a lot, you'll understand what I mean. I don't expect the fuzziness to last long, I did throw them in a lingerie bag and put them through the washer and dryer on delicate, and they haven't pilled too much so far, But for less than $10 I doubt that will last. Still, they are ridiculously soft and warm, and I still wore them for an entire night when we drop below 50°. Would absolutely recommend if you are tall and have somewhat slim legs, and your normal shoe size is over a size 7. Read more
